Literally most of the work and money that went into "Barbie World" was Nicki, not to mention the Barbie brand been wanting to collab w Nicki for years, so there's NO way anyone was considering Ice Spice over Nicki. Mark Ronson HIMSELF said that the movie NEEDED a Nicki Minaj song because she fits the brand SO well and its what people KNOW her for. So Ice is full of shit.

I feel like Doja and Nicki don’t have beef. They just co workers and there’s no record of them dissing each other on record. Nicki was just upset Doja didn’t wanna be on her album and both of them moved on. Megan and Nicki - that beef is complex cause while we may never know who started it (cause apparently it came from Meg not putting her end of the deal by not coming to Queen Radio), Nicki went too far in her response to Hiss - by going off on Twitter and in that tragic BigFoot song. Cardi I feel like is someone who Nicki will probably NEVER be cool with because regardless of who started it, Cardi took it too far by throwing shoes at a PUBLIC EVENT - making them both look bad. If I was Nicki I wouldn’t try and be cool with her either. Nicki may be a lot of things, and her personality can be a turnoff sometimes (and sometimes she makes it VERY hard to like her with things she did in the past and who she aligns with), but the thing I appreciate is she’s not fake. And being a woman in a male-identified field has probably made her feel like she needs to have a hardened stance in regards to her business, which is both good and bad. Ice should’ve had this venting conversation in person with the way people expose people nowadays, no matter how justified she feels.

This is exactly why I was never rooting for her. I don’t understand how Nicki would work with females that even herself knows that they could never hold a single ounce of a weight next to someone like a Nicki, Wayne, JAY-Z, Cole or Kendrick. It is always the untalented, lack-lustered artists that Nicki tends to gravitate to that ends up stabbing her in her back to the point that it’s starting to become a pattern at this point where Nicki has never truly been the villain in these situations.

I do feel like Nicki has shown similar pattern of doing free song(s) and then wanting royalty plus third party contracts. Nicki is aware that her feature fees can’t be stretch as much, as like having royalties. She comes across greedy because she wants a large position in on shot. That’s a bad business move! she needs to focus on small percentage, per record which would increase profits after 6-10+records. Nicki’s business management strategies are outdated.

It’s either pay the money, don’t get a feature, or agree to whatever free option she gives you. Ice agreed to the free option but didn’t hold up to her end of the deal. Same thing happened with Megan when she was supposed to go on Queen radio in exchange for Nicki being on Hot Girl Summer

You have to keep in mind… Ice Spice typically charts in the 40s if AT ALL. When you chart is when your price goes up which means Ice price goes up…. Nicki is giving her a lifeline by collabing with her which greatly helps Ice’s career. She deserves to be properly allocated for her contributions.

I agree with what Dee said at the end. There's too many instances of this happening for it to just be coincidence at this point. And it's always been so strange to me why Nicki keeps doing songs with these lesser artists who honestly can't even stand beside her in terms of artistry and creativity, but I guess it is because she burned relationships with the more established ones.
