Lovely people and we love love love our nearly new coachman Caravan 🥰 we were hoping to bump into you guys 😊

Our caravan is on the drive we leave the alde heating permanently on 5 deg we have the fridge vents covers on seems to just keep the worst of the chill off Well done with the scones Deb cream n jam lovely

Hi. We’re in York since Thursday and it’s been a challenge. Alde heating on electric set at 20c. Nice and cosy when we get back from the city. We’re going home tomorrow. (Monday) so we’ll drain down all water. Pipe to caravan froze on Friday so had to use onboard tank for first time. Think we’ll stay at home next time forecast is for minus temps. Enjoy your weekend

I've remembered to drain down when we left today,so hopefully all will be fine on Friday when we get there. Have a safe trip home.

I would have used a chopping board too cut out those scones but I was surprised at how much they rose. I bought a Mayfair aqua roll winter cover. It's very good (review on my channel)

Sorry delay timer didn’t work, set clock on alde panel to correct time, then go into delay start, set day and time for it to come on, then turn off alde panel. You should find it then works.

When I got there it said it was on but no temperature was set and I can't find how to set the temperature.

@@thecaravanaddys interesting, it should just use the temperature set on the top row of the alde display. I will have another look at mine tomorrow. Interested to get to the bottom of why it isn’t working as it should be easy.

@@thecaravanaddys so. I checked on mine, and you just set the temperate from the main screen, so if mine is set to 18, I then set the delay to start on what ever day and time, then turn off panel. The system then comes on at the temperate set. However, I don’t have swift command, so not sure if that overrules the temperature that is set on the Alde panel.

Fabulous Scones Deb. Love the banter between you and Tony especially with his award 😂😂. Hope you don't mind me asking but how much a unit is your electricity on site. We are sited and pay 60p a unit where as others not too far away from us are paying between 34 and 38. See you in a bit . Wayne & Debs x

Hi Tony and Deb, re the signal that Sargent are talking about, although you may have a good signal (yourselves)at Donkey Creek, a lot will depend on what service provider Sargent use, it may be them that have the issue with signal coverage in that area?

Lobbies are cubed potatoes, onions and oxo stock cooked till potatoes are soften then add a tin of corned beef and gravy granules to thicken. You can have it like that with tiger bread or you can put it in a oven dish and put Pastry on top 👍

Good evening, The caravan looked bloody freezing 🥶. We have swift command and no longer use it remotely (rubbish). You keep saying that you run out if gas, why don't you the leccy for the heating and water ?. Lucky you have on board water. Roll on summer. P and J 👍

We use both but trying to use less electricity because we're on a meter and it's gone up.

Hi T&D Have you tried logging on to the swift command web site instead of the app? I suppose another way around the problem is the one we use in storage just leave the heating on at about 5c just to act as background heating .

That's what I do, the app dosnt work unless your in the van on Bluetooth.

Yeah done that. Tracker works checking levels works and sometimes it will let me turn the lights on.

Never mind putting a tin in a microwave my young niece new the microwave was used for warming stuff up one cold morning she thought her hamster looked cold so as you can imagine the microwave went in the bin
