Howzit, and welcome to another Funday! Todays adventure brings us to Rovaniemi, Finland - The home of Santa Claus! We are staying at the Apukka Resort in one of their famous Aurora pods. The hotel has many activities which you can book such as snowmobile rides, ice fishing, husky sleigh rides and of course a traditional Finnish Sauna and ice swim.
On this day, the temperature was -20ºc, which was an experience in itself. The sauna and swim experience lasts an hour and 30 minutes with full private use. The sauna is pre heated while a hole is cut into the frozen lake and the frigid waters are ready for a plunge. My dad was skeptical about the experience but he was a trooper and has the time of his life!

Afterwards you feel like a million bucks 👍 I do that twice a week, wednesdays and saturdays and last time i was sick was 2007. Greetings from Finland 🙂

RESPECT, do that in the morning and it is more than 100 cup of coffee. It also reset your brains. What ever you have in mind when dipping there you just can't think anything. After that you really feel like super human and you really are. Mentally and physically.

It’s a very special feeling! We had the best time and felt like 1 million dollars after 🤣 would love to do it again! Im Visiting Helsinki in July for the first time. So it’ll be interesting to visit in the summer
