I went to Crenshaw High....Graduated 78. Ice..Layed it out very well in a concise manner. Very Cool. No I did not know Ice but Dapped him up when I'd see him around. (I'll come back to see more of this conversation with Ice) Of many things I could speak on from this short segment, I'll just comment on the Mexican Gangs. East L.A, very Culturally Rich area, I can't explain it but it is special I recognized that even when I was young...Unfortunately as a Black Kid with no connection to the areas, it was a No Fly Zone. My father would go over to Boyle Heights for Tamales for Easter, My Dad worked with with a couple City Terrace OG's .Best Tamales in the World. lol (Technically I know Boyle Heights is said not to be strictly E.L.A just like Crenshaw District is Strictly NOT South Central L.A but the Media INSIST on Making them that for their Media Fear Factor.

I was a Peace Time Marine during early 80's out of Crenshaw High myself. I grew up, played little league, elementary school with others, as we got older some became hard core Rollin 60's Crips so I knew a few pretty well. We just took different paths. I never lie on my dick and always Fully Disclose I was/am a Peace Time Marine amongst other Vets. Very cool Ice commented on that and used that to explain the Gang Dynamic. Crenshaw in the 70's definitely had Bloods/Prius, but the 60's were and probably still is the biggest Crip set from that part of LA, which maybe what Ice T meant
