This looks like a fascinating piece of kit to combine with a drone skyhook mechanism. We don't get much ice here but I could absolutely see the use for this in getting a life preserver on a rope out to someone in open water. How much does the rescue harness weigh? And did the team lower the harness using the drone as an aerial fulcrum or did the drone drop the harness? One minor criticism I've got is for the next video, adjust the volume down a bit especially during the voice over. It was a bit hard to hear the explanation over the music. Great job though! Love seeing different drone uses in emergency scenarios!

We lowered the harness by lowering the drone since the paracord was 20' length. We have lengths of drop cord over 120' depending on the situation needed. This is automatically released by a slight tug by the victim. 100% effective in the hands of a victim no missed drops like on a remote drop system. I don't believe in remote releases, sometimes no chance for a second try when the victims are near death to chase a PFD etc. As for the sound yes I agree.

@@usardroneteam very well put. How exactly is it attached that allows it to be released with a tug?
