What a gifted voice. His voice character is unbelievable. Perfect for metal. Perfect baritone and timbre for the genre really. It's sad what happened to Iced Earth.

T FP yea def on the first song. He had one in ear monitor in until halfway through. But still didn’t help his pitch. “The Hunter” was much better.

T FP “Iced Earth” was spot on in pitch. I still think he’s was the best fit for this band. Ripper comes next but his live performance wasn’t always the best.

@@TomPark1986 What he lacks in control he more than makes up with power. He's definitely not the most technically gifted Iced Earth vocalist but I would say he's the best-sounding.

There are so many underrated singers in the world! I know so many awesome ones never spoke of!!!! I have all type of groups who are awesome and never talked about! But I would say he was very pitchy in this video...maybe he was too sad to go cause he was singing really bad!!! Matt Barlow does have it going on usually...he is fucked up here!

I do like Stu, and for me Incorruptible is an absolutelly amazing album, but when we come back to Barlow backyard, holy crap, this is the man, terrific voice and charisma, second to none. The one and only best of all time.

All of the shows from wacken seem to have incredible mixing and audio quality. Wish I was there. That first tune reminded me of the early queensryche, when they were good, rage for order days. Just discovered iced earth recently and love it.

Iced earth is definitely in my top 5 bands, I've loved them ever since someone on mIRC suggested them to me after i thought I was hot shit trying to find korn songs to download in a chat room. They suggested "Angels Holocaust" and "Stormrider" to me at the time and i was immediately hooked. Bought "Days of Purgatory" from harmony house the next day. One of the best metal albums ever even though it's a compilation.
