Absolutely! I'm 50 years old and currently on my second battle with cancer. My childhood home is not far from the hospital where I receive treatment. I'll drive by on occasion while listening to all of the songs from the 80's that remind me of my awesome childhood. This song is definitely one of them. It truly was a magical decade to grow up in!

This is arguably the Most '80s song and video ever produced. It has everything-- 1. Electronic drums that sound like thunder. 2. Good-looking gap-tooth lead singer with the most magnificent mullet ever. 3. The keytar. 4. Obligatory hot woman for the eye candy factor 5. Future hot-rod builder Chip Foose on the sax. 6. Catchy, feel-good vibe. 7. Chorus that just delightfully sticks in your head. When this song and video hit MTV, it must have been like the ENTIRE '80s landed at once. The '80s ruled.

I was 12 when this song came out and I remember sitting up all night trying to catch it on the radio to "tape" it on an old cassette. Then i took it with me on a roadtrip with my family to the beach. I remember rewinding it over and over. 34 years later and the song still stings me with intense nostalgia and brings me right back there. Love and peace to any fellow 80s kids who still return to these songs for comfort. ❤

Been hearing so many of these 80's songs and I think I got this "feel good formula" figured out. Back in the 80's there was no internet in homes, no cell phones and no social media. It was go outside and play or listen to your stereo in your room. Or just put on your walkman headphones and walk around. Live radio also kept us in suspence not knowing what song will come on next, so we tresured all these great ones when the moment came to us, not us creating that moment, MISS that feeling !

Oh, the 80s! What a great time to be a kid or teenager. I was about 12 when this song came out and it reminds me of summer nights at the baseball fields, playing outside all day, camping out, scary movies, Friday nights at the football field. My Dad was a coach. Music was great back then and listening to this brings all of those memories back. Back then I wanted to be an adult. I would love to go back to those days!

Loved and love timeless 80s music. My favorite of theirs was always "No Promises", but this one was and still is a great song that we enjoyed, listened to and it was more commercialized and recall hearing it on the radio in the 80s a lot more than their other songs, so this is a great song and if I am not mistaken, even made it into the movie or two. Great song and great musical era.
