Wish you would have won the whole thing. Chances like that are rare. Lagerback is the most underrated coach in the world. He did the same thing with Norway in the 90s. #1 in the FIFA rankings at one point, which should be completely impossible. Even beat Brazil in the World Cup in 98 because of LL. He knows exactly how to maximize a limited squad.

Iceland deserved this win, they're lovely people in a lovely country. For England it was just about the worst performance we could have given, whether that's due to Iceland's play, our ability or our managers bizarre decisions, probably a combination of all 3. Good to see Iceland tearing it up in the World Cup this year too!

I remember watching the game and seeing them do their celebration gave me goosebumps, easily one of the coolest memories I'll think about throughout my years

I know how they feel. Our family have been long suffering Los Angeles Kings (ice hockey) fans, since the team formed in 1967. When the Kings won the Stanley Cup for the first time.. there was so much joy and excitement. It's not the same because Iceland is such a small country (loved it when I visited), but the emotions are there. When the Kings won their 2nd Stanley Cup, we cried like babies. Good luck to Iceland in whatever they're doing.
