Please be aware that restrictions on flying drones in Iceland apply. As an example, flying in national parks requires you to obtain a license. Read more about that here: ust.is/english/visiting-icela.... If you intend to fly a drone in Vatnajökull National Park, make sure to apply through www.vatnajokulsthjodgardur.is....
Please understand, that we obtained such a permit to shoot in Vatnajökull National Park. In general, be mindful of other visitors and do not disturb their experience by flying a drone directly above their heads. This is both dangerous and extremely ignorant. Don’t be this guy.

Despite our attempt at keeping our Iceland Travel Documentary as authentic as possible, you are still watching a highlight reel. When editing, we naturally tend to choose the most exciting clips. What you don’t see are the hours spent driving through less spectacular landscapes or some of the challenges we faced.

I spent 11 days in Iceland in September of 2022 and I did the ring road with a few detours. I had the time of my life and left a piece of my heart behind with the hopes of returning someday. I recently watched the winter trip video, which is a pure work of art. This one is even more fantastic! There are far too many places I haven't been, for ex. The West fjords and most of the highlands. It's so incredible to see all those places, that very few tourists go! I was born and grew up in Mývatnssveit and my husband in Skagafjörður. We have lived in the south too. For ex. under Eyjafjöll, almost right below where the eruption was in 2010. Thankfully, the year before, we had moved to Norway! 😅 I don't know why I felt I had to write all this, but it feels like I know you, after being transfixed, watching your video! I usually crochet or do something else, while watching youtube, but not this time! 😄 Thank you both for this magnificent piece of art! Lots of love to you. 💖💖

Wow, there really are no words. Thank you so much for all your hard work in showing us how beautiful the world is in places we may never get to see in real life. I love the perspectives from the drone footage! It shows everything in a new way. Your skills with the drone are amazing! Favorite part is you two helping the baby puffins! I would LOVE to do that.❤❤❤

I am to endeavor on my second trip to Iceland after 5 years and came across your channel. I've watched this video for the third time and each time it has left me speechless. It has given me a number of places I would like to see on this trip, but also for the trip afterwards (where I'd like to do more 4wd). Thank you so much for this!

That was in the far north, first Ólafsfjarðarvegur and then road 75 approaching Siglufjörður from southwest
