And the music scene here is surprisingly small, so most even bigger artists are fairly down to earth. Especially in the state they are from, which is very working class, and probably best compared to the north of England.

@@TheSomaticSinger I think it is just a story, but everybody has been left by anybody, right? 😪So I guess Henning (the singer) knows this feeling as everybody does... He sings "I am waiting for the moment I can feel again", so he had been spending his time only drinking and partying to forget about her and now he just wants to "smoke plants" and watch a western on Netflix. "The guys with the guns help you to forget that you drink to forget". A pretty sad song actually, but I love it! Love from Germany ❤️

@@TheSomaticSinger There is actually no indication of any sort of reason in the song itself. It only really speaks about some sort of depression or generally feeling down/tired/unmotivated. It's pretty much open to interpretation and I've seen people come up with all kinds of things from someone getting dumped to losing a loved one to just general depression or just being tired of, well, doing the same things over and over again with one's free time. I don't know if the band ever talked about the actual background of the song in an interview or something but I think its strength lies in that you can make it about pretty much anything you want and almost everyone can relate to the described feeling/sentiment in one way or another. To me personally it just perfectly captures the persistent tiredness and exhaustion that comes with depression and depression can come from all kinds of places and happen to someone for all kinds of reasons.

I’m sorry but I really don’t understand your question. Obviously you do speak English so it might have come along to you that the „ch“ sound doesn’t exist in English. How should English speakers know how to pronounce it if they don’t speak the language? It’s the same with Spanish… in Spanish you pronounce a double L as a j an not L! So many Germans say Mallorca instead of Majorca.

@@avalon4612 Well, what I meant was, why you all make the same mistake? I understand that english speakers struggle with the two versions of the german ch, like germans, while they are not used to it, struggle with the english th. But we pronounce it wrong in different ways, but you all did it the same. Did you just see a ck instead of a ch and then pronounce it like that?

Ah, okay… now I get your point. Well, I‘m German myself but I guess that a k sound just makes sense in the easiest way to pronounce a word with a ch in it. I would guess that they just see the c and don’t know what to do with the h. Maybe a native English speaker can help out with my guess. My opinion on that topic is different. I think they listen to the music because they like it and don’t want to learn German. So for me it is totally fine to mispronounce the words. If I listen to Italian music I don’t want to learn how to pronounce the words either in written form. I listen to the music because I like it and not to learn the language.
