Johns song and Kevins voice lends a beautiful lyrical & spiritual telling of a soldiers last moments dying upon the field of battle. Never has there been a more beautiful song written about this long thought of moments . No wonder the US Coastguard has adopted it ad their anthem. A well deserved honor. Bravo KMC Modernwest! I had not heard Kevin and his band before, I only played a couple of songs here tonight. This song had me crying. Not because of the content, but Kevin's voice. It was so gentle, so powerful in emotion, amazing. In the spirit of the context I am an Australian and this song could also be about our ANZACS who fought with guns that didn't even work, no food, and no support. Beautiful video you made. Thanks.

His angels will be there! I had near death experiences in 2020 and saw my guardian angel. Never did she leave until I was no longer “circling the drain”. I sought counsel from the hospital Chaplain and she said my story happens all the time. You are never alone. God made All of us. He is in and with All of us! His love and caring never ends.

My father took us to all the battlefields on the east coast of the United States when I was a child. He was a great historian and tried to teach us about our American history. But I was a child, and saw it as a time to play. I never knew then what I know. Fantastic song.

First time hearing this song. My thoughts went right back to 911 I'm a New Yorker saw those towers from my window that early morning from my back window to this day my heart is heavy. I know the Angels came. I look out stll and know the Angels come for all of our great American Heros whom to this moment are out there trying to do thier best in a world thst seems to like the black cloud but I believe the Angels will come by the millions very soon to eliminate that dark cloud.
