@@cynthiarao8324 Meh, Orihime always had an obvious admiration for him and Rukia was more of an equal and a friend. There was never anything romantic about it. Unlike Ron and Hermione where she suddenly wanted someone who had always been mean and moronic at least 2-3 times a schoolyear, whereas Harry was always friendly and they were even a bit closer in 6 and 7, 5 too maybe.

I mean seriously, the only time she showed up in the ENTIRE manga after she got saved is when things were happening. This was the first time Ichigo felt true despair. Not despair of dying but despair of never being remembered. That is some horrifying shit right there.Not even Ywach or Aizen messed with Ichigo on this personal level. Haunting stuff.

Agreed! In a strange way I actually found Tsukushima to be more intimidating than Aizen. Obviously he lacked Sosuke’s level of power, but his ability made Ichigo’s own friends and family see him as the villain and the way it was shown in the anime was legitimately frightening. Hell, just the idea alone unnerves me…

Completely agree. People love to hate on popular shows that go on for a long time because they think everything after a major arc (Aizen & Arrancars) is a waste of time. I like this arc a lot. And the update in the aesthetics is underrated too. Edit: okay I commented that when I still had a few episodes left to go. I just finished 366 and I have to double down. I went from liking this arc to loving this arc.

Something that always gets to me is the situation behind this. We know Ichigo will probably be fine... But to him? He’s literally had his life stolen. His power to protect, and the people who do desperately feels like he must protect. It physically hurts me seeing Orihime and Chad both wonder why Ichigo is doing what he’s doing by fighting the bad guys. His devout friends who have been with him through death and back... Yet they’re on the enemies side. Ichigo breaks down. Ichigo literally breaks. And Orihime sees this, and she can’t figure out why, but she’s torn inside by seeing her friend cry like that. It’s just such a horrible situation when you really stop to think about it...

That is mental torture. I see a lot of people saying that this arc didn't had as much blood as the previous ones, but did it really needed to? Tsukishima constanly torturing Ichigo by putting fake memories in the people he cares about, that was painful and messed up enough for me.

This is how you write a character just like this the way that ichigo is depressed really shows you how much hes been killing himself since he didn't have his power to protect those precious to him so when he had his fullbring powers he was happy that he had the power to protect but he lost it again and he broke down hard only to get up and yell in rage and pain shows that he truly is human like all of us this is one of the best plot lines ever in bleach my favorite scene

When I was younger, I thought Ichigo crying in this scene was a sign of weakness. At the time I felt like it was unusual for a shonen MC to break down like this and give in to despair like a real person, so i thought this scene made Ichigo a bad character. Now that I’m older, I appreciate this so much. This touch of realism to his character. It really resonates with me.

Something really clever in this scene is that it shows us the world that we always see for Ichigos zanpakto, but it’s the one that we see that’s flooded that we are told in the Espada arc was when he lost hope and started to gain despair after his fight with uquiorra. Same place here to show how he lost his hope

Fun fact: Rukia was the last person to add a reiatsu to the sword she used to restore Ichigo's power. This was at Urahara's request, Rukia's reiatsu sheathed the sword because Ichigo's body had her own reiatsu before.

People said Bleach declined after the soul society.... I watched both Hueco Mundo and Fake Karakura town... It was amazing Then i was told Bleach’s Fullbring arc was trash.... It’s pretty good i was never bored and the ending was really good! Bleach is a good anime. I enjoyed it 9/10. 7th Favourite anime of all time

people shit on the fullbring coz the majority opinion was that people wanted bleach to end with aizen's defeat in hindsight while the arc was different ichigo losing and gaining his powers back is one of my favourite scenes in the whole series i kind like the arrancar saga the most out of all the arcs imo

Honestly what was ginjos plan here? He had 6 teammates with most of them being fodder apart from Tsukishima and he wanted to fight the Gotei 13 ehich had 123 captain level fighters, 13 lieutenants and hundreds of shinigami.

I think the reason why we all shit on the fullbring arc was because I think it was simply ahead of its time. We were all too young when we watched it and now when it’s coming almost 10 years later I think we have grown up and understood it better. I mean I was 15 when I first seen it, watched it again at 25 lol. That’s my thoughts anyway

I think all it was, was Aizen being the main antagonist for such a long and strong part of the series. Ideas of transcendence and evolution. What peaks after that? How did ginjo hide and be unknown all this time? After Ichigo lost so much after Aizen it's hard to see any other antagonist measure up. Throw in Ichigo losing his powers permanently and then getting them back. Why was it so sad and sombre about him using the final getsuga when everyone kinda knew it would be possible to restore him?

Trust me,In early 2000s big 3,Ichigo is most human protagonist. Naruto sometime just too persistance for hisown good like how he keep try to drag Sasuke back to konoha. And Luffy is also don't care for blaffing so sometime dude is too comical. While Ichigo,He has emotion. He have happiness,Have sad,Despair,Anger and everything. This is how you make likable protagonist. Not just making them feel OP or strongest,But making them feel more as actual human as well..

Naruto was and still is just straight up an idiot . That’s what annoyed me the most . The entire cast of Naruto was hella weird and annoying besides Shikamaru, sometimes adult Sakura , Kakashi , Tsunade and Jiraiya. Even tho I loved and still do love Sasuke , I have to admit that he was a typical emo boy . Everything seemed to far fetched .

@@anamaliablack9348 Not ervything about assuke is bad but manga artits get board and stop paying attention to their works as they feel like it does not belong to them. So what then? Deadlines they have to hand in work before the deadline. How much do music asrtits have before they sell their album they all say they did not have neough time despite having years to prepare. Same applies here but manga artists have the most hardest timelines in the world. Ichigo felt pain when his eyes were slashed by Ginjou. That is something that is illigal for a shonen hero to have happen to him beacuse shonnen hereos are immortal. But that is how heres are. Ichigo is the srtongest but he can save Orihime and thats all that matters to him. That is enough pride for Ichigo to love Orihime.

Damn, i was too young when this series started. Imma put a lot of effort to understand bleac fandom again. Pov: i dont like fighting scenes but adventure anime is always bomb. I know it was kinda cut out from the video, but seeing Ichigo actually break down and cry was very sad and heartbreaking to watch :’( Poor Ichigo lost the last source of power left in him and all cause of that a-hole Ginjo. I thought it was pretty neat and cool how everyone in the Gotei 13 contributed a portion of their power into the sword Urahara made for Ichigo. Glad he was able to get his powers back!❤

No wonder ichigo became far stronger He starts with only rukia's reiatsu (which is far weaker than now), and then got restored with a sword combined with a stronger rukia, renji, ikkaku, hitsugaya, byakuya and kenpachi, the gotei 13 who's the closest to ichigo I mean we all know how much kenpachi's reiatsu are, adding byakuya's and hitsugaya's are overkill + renji ikkaku and rukia

Only after watching Bleach esp this scene multiple times cux the VA and music just killed it That Rukia was wearing the reiatsu / optical camouflage cloak to prevent getting detected by Ginjo and group so they could return Ichigo power without a fight You can see the cloak just fly off subtlely in the background as Ichigo got stabbed by the reiatsu sword

I still find Ginjo and Tsukishima as best evil villains of Bleach. Aizen had too much depth and Yhwach was just too far gone into the typical evil evil dude. But these two pushed the main character into a legit despair to the point he was just broken

They can see Rukia. Watch the uncut version and you'll see that somewhere in 1:45, Ginjo was surprised for a moment. It may looks like Ginjo was shocked because Ichigo got back on his feet, but the truth is the reason for Ginjo's reaction is the soul reaper and the two old dudes standing behind Ichigo

Lets not forget how many time ichigo gets to know truths about him and his exiten, he does not show it he keeps it inside him, it was not affecting him that time because he was busy fighting normal hollows, espadas, privaron espadas, cleansing souls of spirits He learn t that his life related to spiritual beings was all plan of aizen, hollow get attrac t to ichigo and thats whybhis mother died, he learns urahara was manipulating him, He does get afraid he was scared of kenpachi, aizen but he still fought. This was his break down, Then he learns ss was restricting hi s reaitsu and wanted him to be dead in hueco mundo and tha t they didnt trust him. He realise in fullbring arc he loves his powers which he didnt realize before the arc. Ichigo story is just how he struggles with his new life and get more and more depressed

@@kakashihatake6052 people said that the fullbring arc is the worst out of the bleach canon arc, for me this arc have different tone and aim. I actually enjoy this arc but most of the fan don't, but if kubo made this arc more than just regaining his power and choose end this arc with the quincy showing save ichigo and reveal his quincy herritage. Then tybw started with ichigo train as a quincy and the focus of ichigo friends is try to fix their bond that have been broken because of tsukishima, then i believe bleach wouldn't be on hiatus on 2012.
