Longer review of the new Parkside Performance PPBH 1600 A1 SDS-Max hammer drill. The machine is a massive beast, but it do has it drawbacks. Lets compare it to PArkside Performance PKHAP 20 A1.

It shows a lot of power, but it doubt it has 25J. The speed selection and soft start kinda indicate they were designing it more for drilling than hammering, the weight says otherwise ;) . Soft start for hammering is a big pain in the a.. In any case, I guess it will do the job, but there are a lot similar DIY machines so I guess the price will be a key factor here. I wait for the 40V to arrive.

The way the buttons work is a obvious flaw... No one changes gears with the machine running , having to fiddle with one hand while holding down the power switch with the other. I get the idea behind the cord , most machines will have the cords destroyed at that point from all the bending. Having a quick change system could be usefull , but connectors need to be rwally sturdy and cords should be easy to buy for it to work. The power seems there , both drilling and breaking looked like decent power was put out by the machine. It's definitely intended for drilling bigger holes with the low rpm and big impact , which the test showed pretty good. The 25mm didnt really take any longer then the 18mm.

3:38 Ahahah honest. Thank you for the review and the sneak peek as usual! My whish list for corded p.performance remains the same: planer, circular saw, sander and most of all a table saw. As far as 20v, perf, I whish for a top handle chainsaw. Let's see how many years will be needed xD

Thanks for the clip, i was expecting that A1 like in other cases, it will be good, but has major flaws, the connector it will be broken on the first fall. And the 25J is a joke, nor Bosch or other expensive brands don't get those numbers, maybe is just for the first kick...

For 149€ you'll get a beast. At least changing the gear-speed is annoying, but most will stick with Level 6 once it has been selected...

За съжаление няма машина с подобна функционалност от известна марка, с която да я сравня. Всички които предлагат 20J и нагоре са само с функция чук, без такава за ударно пробиване.

So, except a stylish design, a 50watt more power,what is the difference from the 1550watt one of the green line? 25joules obviously is an exaggeration.
@icku6 ай бұрын
Unfortunately i have no access to the 1550 watts version to confirm or deny

you know that there are 1liter 55KM motors and 1 liter 250KM motors? When you guys will learn that power is only the magic which propells another things and they can vary in literally everything?
@user-du6op6qx5s6 ай бұрын
@dlaczegotakpowazny1474 1600 watts it's 1600 watts ,no more no less. Leave the ice out of it, you don't have to deal with turbos here or anything else. The 2 models have the same mechanism inside the gear box and they only produce 50 watt of difference. In order for the performance to have 25 joules with the same mechanism inside , it should at least be 2500 watts in power. Learn the difference first.

they use these stupid membrane button speed control everywhere, because there is lot of super cheap 6 speed brushless drivers wit + - button inputs. Rotary switch is much more expensive. This is reason why they removed even mechanical ON/OFF on their grinders and replaced with membrane buttons.

It's some cordless instruments that use brushless motors. They run on low voltage DC electricity. Corded AC instruments use commutated series-wound motors.
