There’s a bigger JJC case now that is great to fit a Sony A7iv connected to Sony 200-600mm G OSS with lense hood on reverse. It’s great, compared to Lowepro version (which is smaller)

Good idea, I'm surprised ICOM didnt make something similar as the rucksack is good but not for everyone. I have a 705 and was looking for something like that 👍

I'm using a padded camera bag insert, the ones made to fit three lens. I remove the two padded partitions and just drop the 705 into it. A nice snug fit when my z mount is attached and the mic sits next to it.. I then lay the partitions on the top, pull the draw string and its very well enclosed and protected.

Great ideas, the radio is a bit too dear to get knocked or scuffed especially as it is designed as an outdoor QRP set.

The LC-192 is a bit pricey really.. great for the purists but not really me (the ultimate functionist 😂)

Gary me being a numpty I’ve reset the 705 without saving the settings and lost all the repeaters in the DR mode. Is there a way to reinstall them I’ve looked at D-star info but with no joy. Thanks

Amazon puts its prices up with increased demand, I noticed the neewer z stand is now listed as you might like when you search for the ic 705 on Amazon lol crafty sods

@@TheGazLab true. Anyway its still a great alternative for taking care of the radio. I am going to get one of the wraps to put round my 818. Thanks for bringing these items to our attention. 73
