This video is about my experience with oil tempera, a technique I've recently approached. In this video I explain the recipe of oil tempera and the characteristics of this pictorial technique, used in the Renaissance period.
In the second part of the video I explain how to make glazes and clarifications using oil tempera and the fat-on-lean technique. To do this on my "test painting": a reproduction of the "Madonna of Pontassieve" by Beato Angelico.
