I've watched every single UFC event live bar maybe the couple of times when I've watched the replay (due to working) since 2005 He's definitely the greatest I've seen inside that cage, some people will argue jon jones or khabib, gsp etc But if you ask them, hypothetically who would win between between prime them vs prime silva I would always put my money on Silva 100% of the time

I’ll never forget the moment Anderson lost to Weidman, I literally stood up in my living room with my hands to my side and my jaw dropped in disbelief for literally minutes. As a hardcore fan for a long time it felt like a superhero just died. When I started watching mma back in the early 90s-2000’s watching a Anderson fight was like watching magic. I’ll never forget Rogan saying “he’s like a wizard in there” because it’s so true. He really is a once in a lifetime athlete and I’m just grateful I got to witness his career from start to finish. Thank you to the spider

I felt this same way and I had read into how insiders thought Weidman was the guy to beat him. It was quite an experience witnessing such a dominating reign end in such unfortunate ways, and was like seeing the death of s super hero.

I became a fan during season one of TUF. I got to see all the moments from that point as they happened. I will always be grateful I got to see Anderson go on his streak as it happened. It was so incredible. You'd think oh this guy will finally challenge him, only to have whoever it was get thrashed even worse than the last guy. There is nobody in the sport right now who has the electricity that Anderson did in his prime

First of all you can't even compare someone with 3 title defences against someone with 10 title defences, Anderson Silva is on another level of legacy (he is in the same level as Jon Jones, GSP, Demetrious Johnson and Fedor Emilianenko). Ele pode te sido um dos maiores, mais não superou o Jon Jones. Jones tinha um jogo bem mais completo que o do Spider, e o Anderson não enfrentou caras de nome no auge pra se considerado o maior, os com mais nome que ele venceu aquele época foram o Sonnen, Belfort, o Demian Maia e só, olha os cara que ele venceu e compara com os cara que o JJ venceu, não tem comparação.

He was to MMA what Ronaldinho was to football/soccer. He made the boys watching him want to do what he did, made it look like he had superpowers or something else special that the others didn't. This is the original MMA showman, the wow factor from Royce Gracie but on both ground and standing.
