Editor's Note - at 13:09 we show footage of a T. rex, instead of a Deinonychus. We do have an animatronic Deinonychus as well. Pardon the error.
Evolutionists claim that birds are descended from dinosaurs. A feature that is often cited as linking these two types of creatures is the brain. But are the brains of dinosaurs and birds really that similar?
Host Trey and Dr. Tim Clarey discuss this vital topic on episode 74 of The Creation Podcast!

Dinosaur soft tissue has been found on six continents. These tissues include blood vessels, blood cells, collagen and even partial DNA. Interestingly the evolutionist community which typically ignores the soft tissue conundrum or states that this tissue (despite its implausibility) is actually 65+ million years old, believes based on this soft tissue that dinosaurs were indeed warm blooded. . It would be nice to get clarification on this from ICR.

@@deannesanv8931 Somebody has made a list! Collectively, they are called scientists, and they have huge lists of all the things which evolution over long periods produced (and will continue to produce). Do you actually not understand that those changes do not happen from one generation to another? It takes millions and even billions of generations to produce them. To give you an idea, if we estimate roughly 4-5 human generations per century, humans have been around for less than 1/2 million years, or about 2.5 million generations.

There is a long list of extreme changes necessary to turn Benz Patent Motorwagen into Lamborghinis. But if you look at pictures of cars over the years (roughly 150 years) you will see that each new model after the first 1885 model incorporates small and not at all extreme changes until we reach the marvels of engineering we see today. Evolution, not sudden transformation! Even my first car, a 62 Plymouth Fury, is quite different from the car I own today, but still you can trace the small subtle evolutionary changes from 62 to now. Houses, shoes, stoves, everything we use today, all started in much more primitive forms and evolved slowly. We didn't just leap from a log across a stream to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in one extreme step. Subtle genetic changes over billions of generations is what pushes biological evolution, no extreme changes needed.

It seems to me, that those who believe in macro-evolution make their case primarily on the basis of skeleton similarities between species. However, as far as I know ( I am not an expert and I appreciate the scientific research from both sides ) the genetic features of species do not corroborate what skeleton similarities would suggest. This should at least, I think, hold evolutionists back from expressing their beliefs as if they were unquestionable and as if they finally have "proved" macro-evolution.

One question I would like to propose, in case it were asked of me, is about the possibility of artifacts from the pre-flood human civilization. I consider that if there was a civilization prior to the Great Flood, that there might be writings or artifacts unless for some reason they were destroyed. Or rather, what reasons could we examine that such artifacts or records are not available to be found?
@Torby4096
@Torby4096 2 ай бұрын
There undoubtedly were artifacts from the period, but I would say we are very unlikely to find any, or any human fossils for the reason, God made a world full of animals, but only two people, so by the time of the flood 1600 years later, the ratio of people to animals would be very near zero.

The Bible says sin brought about death. Until Adam sinned there was no death. It also says everything God made was good. Animals killing and eating eachother would violate both of these truths in the Bible. We also see that after the fall, all creation was cursed on account of sin; plants grew thorns, etc. It never explicitly says that animals began to eat eachother, but many people belive this is when it started. Also, we see animals living in harmony with Adam before the fall... and again in the millennium. It says leapord and goat lie down together and the wolf and lamb will graze together. And that a child will lead them around. Again, doesn't explicitly mention dinosaurs, but certainly describes a world where dangerous predators are harmless and eat grass.

I can hardly bear to think about the billions of hours and probably trillions of dollars that have been wasted on studying and trying to prove the idea of evolution, which is so obviously not possible. Think how much good could be done in the world if people would pursue truth and give their extra time to helping others instead of wasting their lives in such a hopeless endeavor as to prove something that the evidence so clearly shows to be false. I’m thankful for the scientists and staff at ICR. You shouldn’t have to be doing your research and work to show that creation is actually rational compared to the evolutionary hypothesis, but in a world absolutely determined to defy and ignore God, it’s worth doing. It would be even more pleasant if we could just study and learn in pursuit of seeing the skill and creativity of our Creator as worship of Him without the dark cloud of evolutionary ideas in the world. Some day, that will be reality on the new earth with Moshiach Yeshua reigning from Yerushalayim.

There is no good evidence for evolution. I do not believe in evolution. But, the earth is not 6,000 years old and the Bible does not teach this. Hebrews 4:9-10: "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his." This tells us that the 7th day has not ended. Thus day 7 is a long time span, thus day 1 to 6 must be a long time span. Each believer are to enter into day 7. Also there no "evening and morning" for the 7th day. As day 7 as not ended. Biblical Hebrew has a limited vocabulary, with fewer words compared to other languages, such as English or Spanish. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is: Sunrise to sunset Sunset to next sunset Time period of unspecified length. (long time span ).
