--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have never seen anyone take this approach to ICT - Both On KZfaq and Off. But in my hours and hours of testing and data collecting I recognized a pattern that began to become apparent on the 5m TF when trading the Judas Swing. I have created multiple videos on the Judas Swing and it seems to be one of the trade entries that people resonate with most. However when Trading the same setup through a couple hundred examples, you cant help but to notice certain elements that crop up in many different examples, and you start to see similarities between different scenarios that call for potential refinements to ones strategy. In this example I dont see this as a stand alone strategy, but more of an addition to your toolbox, and entry that if you spot, you can count on being pretty damn high probability. Its essentially extremely potent due to its "Double liquidity grab" or "Fake choch" which basically gets early buyers or sellers into the market, we use this momentum from stop losses taken to fuel Our move forward. This Simple NEW RULE Got Me 88.3% Win Rate
Once I realized that this pattern was EXTREMELY accurate on the charts and played out almost EVERY time on EURUSD, I immediately began collecting data and documenting it. ICT says that the Silver Bullet can help you quit your job, but I believe this is better, It has the potential to get you funded and keep you funded if you follow the plan correctly - The only caveat being that you do not get this particular trade setup very often - however when this particular ICT setup starts to setup, you know that it is a really HIGH probability setup.
This approach is waiting for the first more "Obvious" change of character to happen, which essentially generates liquidity underneath, once this additional liquidity is raided, we then look to get long after early buyers or sellers are taken out of the market. This gives us an extra level of liquidity or "Fuel" for the move upwards. I bet you may have noticed if you were trading ICT or SMC that sometimes you get stopped out and then the trade seems to go in your direction and play out. It is also crucial that you look for a proper displacement when trading this entry. Its key to see real momentum get pumped into the market - This if anything is the real filter for whether the trade will play out or not.
Essentially this little ICT hack blew my mind and I couldn't wait to share it with you. But remember none of this is financial advice, remember to backtest and collect data on any strategy before taking it into the live market or when going for prop firm evaluations. Full Strategy Plan Inside

Got great results testing the last few months with the Judas Swing exactly how you teach it but without using higher timeframe confluence, during the New York session on a couple pairs but then I purchased FX Replay which allowed me to go much further back on 1 minute data and the strategy without HTF confluence is terrible. Hope this one is better on a larger sample size

You have to corporate htf so you know the narrative. Also power of three and news are very very important. If you don't know what it is learn it. And then see how the candles are reacting inside pd arrays.

Well for this strategy he says you don’t and since it’s so quick and easy to test I’ll give it a shot. I will admit using HTF confluence can make the original Judas Swing strategy he shows much better but also not sure if I’m using the “power of three” so I’ll look into that. Thank you

That's a good strategy. As a ICT student, for me what works best is to wait for some liquidity sweep sellside or buyside, for exp turtle soup. Then find out the 5 min CHOC, at the same time I look for a 15 min swing high to to very far left side which indicates where my stop loss should be. It usually can be 15-18 pips. Then target the asian low or high depending on the Judas swing stategy and somedays it goes to to sell or buyside liquidity area. But the problem is I only get those setup only 1 or 2 times a week.

You also did a video on Judas swing with FIB OTE entry. I guess for this one, play out the regular judas swing, if that doesn't play out then play 2nd sweep of CHoCH out... coz using FIB OTE entry would also fail if we have to wait for 2nd sweep of the CHoCH.

agree. So many youtubers keep jumping from one strategy to another, claiming they have so many strategies that work. Rather than being a jack of all trades, why not focus on one strategy n keep trading it 100 times, 500 times n even more. Rather than having 10 strategies n each strategy only done backtesting 10 times or so.

@jaysnsd85 That's the thing, as they get more subscribers. They just want to make contents to get paid by KZfaq. Eventually lose their focus on the actual trading. Next thing you know it, content starts to show low quality, making videos on every single strategies or indicators. None of them do the live 100 trade challenge, it's simply because they been losing trades and not really making money from trading. They can't manage their emotion and I can tell Garland Trader is going down the same road. oh btw, for those who things backtesting makes good indication the strategy works. Well, it doesn't. MUST DO LIVE TRADES WITH SMALL AMOUNT TO TEST. "100 TIME" and INCREASE AMOUNT SLOWLY.

I've noticed almost all of theFVG entries are placed basically at same entry point as if you entered off the candle that changed character. So what's the purpose of entering off FVG then if it doesn't give much difference in terms of entry, especially taking into consideration that 60% of moves don't retrace back to a FVG? Just curious

Great video, I trade Judas swing but will bare this in mind! Just curious, is that 88.3 WR on one pair? Cause I guess you could look at multiple pairs such as GU, GJ etc for off frequent trade setups?

in your other video you entered in the first Choch and not wait for it to grab another LQ sweep. ?? so what should we trade the first Choch and then FVG or wait for the sweep and another Choch and then enter on the FVG...

When you talk of Asian highs and lows are you referring to Sydney session? I note your Tradingview is set to UTC+1 which is current London BST and it shows Asian session finishing at 7am (if I am reading this correctly) and Tokyo does not finish until 9am when London opens. Thats a 2 hour gap between Sydney closing and London opening. A bit confused.

So since this is a rare setup do you take the first FVG + CH so regular Judas swing and then if your double sweep/ch entry presents you’ll also take it?

does this work for the new york session also or only the London session ? meaning can we take the sweeps for the london session going into new york or are those setups not valid? so lets say a sweep of the london lows occur and then a ChoC occurs with a FVG in New york and an entry setup happens. are we free to try and enter those ? have you backtested that?

Ok, here is my question. How do you when this set up is going to happen? Sweep of a low / high, ChoCH, FVG (This is a regular Judas swing). When you are fwd testing it, how do you know when to wait for the 2nd sweep of a CHOCh?
@donnacottle9713

Because you are waiting for the sweep of the choch and not the Asian high
