Today I'm trying out the New Poliwrath and Skarmory in the Great League! This Great League Team did incredibly well for me today and Poliwrath took a lot of players by surprise with the spicy moveset I was using!

Bruh I just blasted thru all my charge TMs trying to pick up icy wind on wiggly and wrath. 20 TMs later wiggly equipped/6 TMs later Wrath is NOT… Fml 🤦‍♂️

Best I could tell from an online CP calculator, they had to have also had 14 Attack. So it truly was a coinflip.

Lower ranks are crazy. People playing things that just don't make sense, making them ironically really good at catching you off guard

Sadly, poliwraths built already have the cday move, counter, while it is easy to go to mud shot, it's a elite fast tm for going back to counter, in case it is needed

Not sure if anyone noticed, but the first 7 scalds by Poliwrath got the attack drop. Normally scald has a 30% chance to drop the attack, so to get 7 in a row is a 0.02187% chance. In total Poliwrath threw 9 scalds in this video, 7 of which go the attack drop. Which means Zyonik’s percentage in this video to get the scald debuff is 77.77%. Better than Zap Cannon.

Mandibuzz, Lickitung, Talonflame!!! This team is weak to carbine and bastiodon but can get soft loses with kicking and vine whip. A suggestion for your talonflame teams you may try

at 12:25 Scald does more damage, but Icy Wind has slightly better DPE

consistent teams aren’t possible, 50% win rate +-10 is about all you will ever get, and 60% isn’t exactly consistent

Both the lead and safe swap are weak to Lanturn lead. If something in Lanturn's back can handle Medi, it's automatic top left

we find those win conditions! Also a lot of lanturns are going water gun this season, which is way better for poliwrath.

I'm sure next season they'll nerf the debuff chance on icy wind and scald then increase it on something else and give it to a bunch of mons including already strong ones so that we can start the cycle anew

Tried this team and the moment you get to any respectable rank, it's over. Sorry. This team has zero realistic answer for A) Talonflame lead, or B) Azumaril backline
