Every time I hear "minor modifications" on this channel I know what to expect 😂 You've clearly got a real F100 in the final reveal there's no way it could look that good in 1/72...

Bashing two (or more) kits together is in my opinion peak modelling. When your frustration levels and skill are high enough, the two forces meet and coalesce and you are really starting to work with model kits. :))

Awesome work. My Granddad flew in one of these, and there's pics of him supersonic over the Grand Canyon from a second F-100 off their wing. After seeing the subject matter I knew I was going to watch in full.

4:07 is when I really started to appreciate the amount of detail he puts into his models. Chances are he’ll look at it for a few seconds and say when he’s done but he still puts seatbelts in. Wonderful job on the model.

definition of "minor modifications" me: painting a pilot rather badly David: Redesigns entire aircraft, send blueprints to USAF and constructs 1:72 working jet engine from a cereal packet and some straws. Awesome stuff!

I really liked that parts of two different models were taken care of and especially matching the wings in terms of height and reconfounding the nose, it has a good pulse with so many lines of piping that were rewritten in addition to the fact that it is the first time I see the instrument panels installed separately, the stairs were perfect and very nice paint detail on the exhaust. Secondo me Anche se non e' da COMPETIZIONE, e' un MODELLO STUPENDO E FANTASTICO , specialmente nella correzione degli errori di Stampata . Unire due kit prendendo il Meglio secondo me e' il TOP con le fotoincisioni ancora meglio.....I Miei complimenti ancora a continua Sempre cosi .....PS: IO sto montando l' F100 1/72 Italeri di scatola ....speriamo bene .👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

15:24 Amen to that, sometime around 2018 I mixed and thinned a specific shade of sand yellow for my Egyptian SA-6, and I still have that syringe and the paint is still good. It dries in the nozzle, preventing the rest of the thinner from evaporating, so the paint doesn't dry at all.

Amazing job. I used those metallic paints on my Trumpeter F-105D and like that they can be polished to look like metal. The kit decals were off scale as well - painted the markings on.

I’m impressed not only with your kit building ability, but with your ability to modify and mould bits and pieces from various kits to make it exactly how you want it. I like your audacity to make these mods it in the first place, then tell us. Hopefully the kit manufacturers will take note 🙂.

Holy cow dude that was insane. First the kitbash of two models into a coherent whole better than either original and then the details and weathering. I had to keep reminding myself that this is 1:72 and not 1:48 or 1:36 with how good it is. Bravo!

When you cut loose on a 1/72 kit (or in this case kits) you certainly don't mess about! Lovely result! Looks like you are holding a 1/32nd scale kit with your huge hands.

This build makes me want to cry when I compare it to my Italeri F-100D, the single seat version. I'm glad I built my Hun from Italeri. Trumpeter has so many issues, like the wing placement issue seen here.

Another very nice build! You are a braver man than I am when it comes to those Trumpeter kits. They are always plagued with fit problems, incorrect shapes, decal issues, etc. and that’s why I refuse to buy them anymore.

Great combo model and metallic coloring effect! Suggestions: sand wheel edges down touching ground to give weighted plane effect. Would like to see some chipping on green front cone edge and on decals.

I use SM2xx series of paints and never find the need to clear coat over them , even with weathering. These paints are very good and is the reason I switched from AK Xtreme. Great build👌🏻
