On this trip, I went to visit my friend Nick up in Idaho. We decided to take the rigs out for a one night camping trip up near Luck Peak Reservoir. Follow along for epic scenery, awesome trucks, and top notch cooking!

It’s cool seeing people from idaho with nice things to say I hunted this area two years ago after we all tagged out we went and drank beer and some whiskey in nice hot spring along the road, it was clear it was a popular spot to take a dip. some dude figured the parking area was a good place to sleep in his rig apparently we pissed him off parking next to his Tahoe , mr tuff guy then waited tell we were in the hot springs before he threatened to shoot us for parking there as he sped off. Not all Californian’s are bad people especially us nor cal people. I too respected the land and the people around me that were hunting the area. Your state is amazing but it’s frustrating not feeling welcome.

Awesome landscape out there man! My buddy lives in Fairfield! Just a short skip up the road. About 5 years ago I hauled my Samurai out there and wheeled it up to Soldier Mountain and on into the Sawtooths. We hit up some hot springs and had a blast. Endless roads all the way to Canada man! No way to see it all in a lifetime! Enjoying the videos man. Looks like the pup dog had as good of time as you boys did!

How is the mega cab on the trails? I know it’s got a wider turning radius and the break over angle is ass but is it really much worse than the quad cab?

I wonder if these are too big of trucks? What about a single cab 1500 with a 3in lift and 33 tires? or A 1500 crew cab
@offroaddrumming Жыл бұрын
These trucks are great overall. Obviously, you can get better trucks for individual purposes that will be more ideal, but with these specifically, you can tow anything you want, do some moderate wheeling, and are still decent drivers on the road
@manny7972 Жыл бұрын
Depends what you need your truck for, I have 1 2012 ram 1500 and a 2012 ram 3500 mega cab both used for work, but if I want to overland stuff and still tow no way I could do both worlds with a 1500. A 3500 with the right suspension set up will feel so much smoother while still being able to tow and do these type of things.
@Redfour5 Жыл бұрын
I don't get it, What's wrong with a little pin striping?
@EpicAdventuresOffroad Жыл бұрын
Main problem with pinstripes is you get a little bit on there, then all the sudden you’re doing it all the time, and then very quickly you have a truck that looks like garbage because you didn’t take care of it. I’ll trim some bushes before I mess up the pain on my expensive truck.
