What an awesome fishing trip, thanks for sharing the adventure with us. I totally understand the prep work that goes into a big trip like that. It's obvious that you have a strong passions for chasing those special trout. One day, you'll land an absolute trophy trout and then you can say that all the hard work has led up to that moment. 🤘

My first trip ther got 17fish 3 over 15 lbs on grear 2 days Then went to swing flys. Average 1-3 fish per morning. B runs are insane big. As you probably know

If you ever want to come back, let me know. I know that river like the back of my hand. (The little river) I also know the SF of the Clearwater, where the B run end up… it’s the same size as the little river. I’d be more than happy to take you guys 🎣

I went to college in Idaho and spent a few years fishing around Orofino. It can be kind of overwhelming when you first start fishing it but after awhile you learn a few places where the fish sit and then it can be really good. We used to fish it a lot with just a bobber and a deer hair jig.

@@FishingTheOdds it’s good you tried it at least once. Another place to think about is the Grande Ronde in spring. It flows into the snake just above Lewiston/Clarkston. You could use your raft on it easily.

my buddy and i talked about the grand ronde on our drive home! dont be surprised if next year you see some of those rivers in the videos! maybe the raft will be with me! @@swimbait1

In Idaho the regulations state the person who hooks the fish tags it. I know that is opposite of oregon and Washington where who ever is holding the rod when it's netted tags the fish.

The clearwater in idaho has way bigger steelhead! Big B run usually always over 10lbs.

@@FishingTheOdds it about a year ago when I was there. There was one with like a huge lump in its gut. He was super aggressive though chasing the other two around the tank lol
