Fimi X8 Mini v1 and v2 - An Informal Comparison Flight

In this video I fly the Fimi X8 Mini v1 and the Fimi X8 Mini v2. Both drones flew great without any drama. I saw some tilted horizon issues on the v2 model. I flew both drones on the same path to show a video comparison. I hope you enjoy it!

Hi Marcus, very nice comparison of the two Fimi Mini drone models, thanks for sharing. Maybe a small adjustment of gimbal gain would help the crooked horizon? The Fimi trying to land in the garbage can was hilarious. Fimi's like round landing pads. I look forward to your testing of the Fimi Mini 3.

V1 (1/2.6 sensor) ..vs.. V2 (1/2.5 stacked sensor) ..vs.. V3 (1/2" stacked sensor)... V2 does seem to have a better dynamic range over V1. But Fimi forcing a 4k 25fps in SAR Zoom is puzzling for V2. V1 was still one of my favourites. Thanks for the memories 😀👍😅

Just like autel nano having 2X zoom on 60fps at 1080 only.... so useless over 30

These two drones were more impressive that HS900 you have been flying lately. The Mini 1 did not have much dynamic range in the video, and Mini 2 suffered from horizon issues. But least you didn't have signal issues with you FPV feed, and video was properly recorded to the memory cards. I look forward to seeing how the Fimi Mini 3 compares to first two models. Thanks Marcus. I prefer the Mini v2 video. Looking forward to your Mini v3 review. GM thinks the orange color makes it much easier to see as well.

Hi Marcus greetings. Fimi is a great drone. I started with the version 1 until my battery got spoiled and upgraded to DJI mini 3. But I do enjoy working with mini 4 pro a lot. Awesome commentary. Stay blessed and safe all the time Amen 🙏🙏
