Ideas for Using Scrap Fabrics - Embellishing Gift Bags

Today I show you some little ideas for embellishing drawstring bags with some hand stitched details. This is a nice way to make little bags for giving presents in and a great way to use up scraps.

Enjoyed your sewing machine demonstrations. You seem to have two very nice machines. My machine is an old Bernina that I purchased from the High School Home Ec. Department years ago. But I have loved every minute I’ve had it w/out any trouble. Don’t want to be w/out a sewing machine, iron and ironing board. They are staples in my life.

I really loved the last bag you made with the little cottage picture, I join hexies together to make some material to make a pouch. I love "making material" out of scraps also I have a lot of jelly rolls which are great for making strips etc. I have just found your channel which I probably said before, so I am sorry if you receive a lot of comments from me, but keep recording, also I saw the back pack which was gorgeous I hope your little boy loved it.x

So cute Emma. I just finished hand quilting 2 large quilts and was needing ideas for some small projects to give myself a break and these are perfect. Love seeing the fabric combinations you use. Always so pretty. It has been really hot here in Kansas but to day it has turned really cloudy and cold so perfect for starting some new sewing projects.
