In this video i show an ingeniuos alternative to expensive sandblaster machine to remove rust from any metal tool or part. With recycled parts i made an cheap sandblating machine to clean metal parts or remove rust.
If you need to clean any metal parts like iron, brass, copper or stell just watch this video called Throw any rusty metal in sand and be amazed at the result.

If it gives same result as sand blaster, it's much much better. Because 1) you don't require expensive air compressor 2) sand is not wasted, it can be used again and again 3) compact and economic idea Brilliant 👏👏👏

I once figured out a good way to clean a rusty log chain. I hooked it to my four wheeler and drove it along the sandy banks of the Arkansas river and after about fifteen minutes it was nicely restored to its original condition.

That works on the same principle as vibratory gun case cleaners that you can buy fully ready to use. They use softer media to clean brass cases and it takes awhile. But I could see using some fine pure sand in one of those to abrade rust and corrosion off other stuff. Had not really thought of that. The catch is that it takes alot longer than sandblasting but if you got the time go for it.

It's great for small parts, easier than sandblasting,there are various Expendable Media you could use, depending what your cleaning,like Garnet, stone grit,Iron Silicate to name a few & available in various grades, most in a 25kg bag.Would also put a lid on container as any fine dust isn't good for you.

I'm going to make one and buy the 4 stages of sand to use it for polishing rocks😍 I'm also looking for the next free tread mill I see on craiglist to make another where I can run all 4 stages at once in 3 gallon barrels that will enable me to do much larger and heavier rocks, as well always enjoy a finished batch every time I start a new one as I cycle them through.

i love the invention and the way you use common tools and household items. the idea here can be transferred to other uses, like sifting large quantities of flour for cleaning metal it would be helpful to know, about how much time in the sand to clean those parts? 15mins, 2hrs, 24hrs?

Construction sand works better because it is sharper.
@Alpha_Rocking
@Alpha_Rocking Жыл бұрын
@@macrumpton @Ideas & Trucos Cement/concrete is generally produced with river sand or sea sand. Depending on what the cement/concrete is to be used for, a distinction is made between round grains (river sand) and angular grains (crushed sand, chippings). Thus, e.g. sand from deserts is unsuitable - although massively available.😳 This is due, among other things, to the shape of the desert sand grains. Over thousands of years, they have been ground round by the winds and therefore have no edges. Therefore, the grains cannot interlock with each other - an important prerequisite for use in building materials. In addition, desert sand is simply too fine-grained to be suitable for concrete. Thus, desert sand would also be conceivably unsuitable for use in a DIY machine like the one in the video above....🤔 Fine-grained gravel & river sand would therefore be a combination that could derust both coarser and finer metal parts very well.😋 Kind regards, Alpha🦉

Não contém a especificação do RESISTOR.
@marioolivieri8223
@marioolivieri8223 Жыл бұрын
