I remember recently I read a quote saying when BTS debuted all they had was passion, resentment, and each other and that gaining their Army taught them self love and acceptance so I think that's why they have softer songs now. And Jimin talked about how he tried so hard to be masculine and now he doesn't feel the need to be someone he's not and that he knows he's hot no matter what he wears lol. Love how you did both the practice and the music video! Can't wait for more!

Jimin once said in an interview that he thought he had to act tough and he tried really hard to do that. He said if he could tell his younger self one thing, it would be to hurry up and become the him that he is today. He is a LOT more comfortably with who is now :) That being said... he has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and practiced Kendo for years... he's a total badass while wearing his "women's" Chanel jacket.

Danger was one of those songs for BTS where they were beginning to leave the whole hip hop vibe from before when they did songs like ‘No More Dream’ and Bulletproof Part 2’. Also, you guys mentioned that they seemed to be very hard core back then as well. So during this time BTS was not famous at all so they had to put in their all to even get noticed and it really wasn’t till 2017-2018 that they guys really really started getting noticed. I would say 2020 has been their peak year so far! Can’t wait for you guys to react to more!

On average Kpop stars spend about 10 hours or more a day in the dance studio for a week learning a new set of choreography and then they spend about a month perfecting the moves before they debut it in a music video, on music programs, on variety shows and in concert. Almost all main track Kpop songs have choreography even if you don't see any dancing in their MVs because they have to be able to perform the song live at music programs, award shows and in concert, etc. and they can't do that without having choreography to go with the song. You should also keep in mind, that Kpop "dance practice" videos aren't really "practice" videos. Most of the time they are filmed in their dance studios and they are practicing the choreography, but a company won't release a group's dance practice footage until the group has perfected the dance and can perform it perfectly. You probably won't actually ever see them learning the choreography in their "dance practice" videos, and, most likely, you won't ever see any obvious mistakes or moves that aren't done almost perfectly, because their company won't release any of that footage. The point of "dance practice" videos is to show off the choreography and to highlight the dance skills of the members. Kpop groups and companies started releasing dance practice videos about 10 years ago, after they discovered that fans were copying the dances and really wanted to learn the choreography. "Dance Practice" videos are more like dance highlight or dance performance videos. For example, with BTS, the members probably spent about 10 hours a day for at least a week in the dance studio learning and perfecting this choreography and they didn't release this footage until they were able to pull it off flawlessly. And, of course, it's one take with no cuts because they have to be able to dance this full choreography live in concert and on music programs so you can't cut live performances. They have to be able to dance it perfectly from beginning to end , that's why they practice so hard and for so long to make sure it's perfect But just because it's one take, does not mean it was done on the first try, they probably danced this choreography hundreds of times before they were perfect. This was just the take that they decided to release to the public. Most Kpop group's are very good at dancing and after spending a day or so learning the dance they usually have the dance down to a point where they can do it perfectly without a whole lot of effort. After all, if you spend your career learning a new dance for every new song release, and you have to know dozens of dances for each concert tour, and you are expected to do it all flawlessly, you need to be able to pick up on the choreography pretty quickly. Fun fact: You know why you see Kpop idols in their dance practices wearing a lot of layers, and often what we would think of as street clothes, instead of workout wear or "dance shoes"? One reason is because it helps build up endurance and to condition their bodies to be able to dance on stage with their stage outfits and not be affected. Why it looks so effortless on stage and like they hardly even exert themselves or sweat sometimes, is because their body has become used to being dressed in layers while working hard while wearing boots, etc. It's kind of like if you spend a lot of time in a sauna, after a while your body gets used to the heat and you can endure more heat for longer periods of time. :D BTS are amazing dancers and performers, but really they aren't that unique when it comes to Kpop. There are dozens of other groups, and hundreds of MVs, dance practices and live performances you need to check out. You will soon discover that this level of perfection is just the norm in Kpop. I encourage you to broaden your view and check out all that Kpop has to offer, BTS is not the only amazing group. I think you will find there are lots of groups and dancers you will enjoy. Kpop is known for its level of detail and how everything strives for a level of perfection that is unmatched by anything you have ever seen or heard in the western music industry.

Their dance practices only amplifies people's impression of them. But then again, their live performances get every1 hyped in general. They just know how to get the crowd going and one of the reasons they're BIG. And they sing live so the grit is there. You can never see them exhausted, you see them enjoying and performing as if it's their last performance everytime. Not today dance practice or baepsae? Is also soo good. Anyhow, you'll see that despite the genre or theme theyre going for, they'll go hard or vibey but never Dry and dull.

This is definitely the dance practice that blew my mind when I first got into BTS, although there are lots of great ones. I always like to watch the music video or live performance first and then the dance practice after so I can see all the footwork intricacies I missed the first time. Yes, they were going to be strictly a hip hop band in the early days, that's why their image is so much darker and tougher. I'm glad they branched out because they excel at every genre. There are videos of Jimin talking about how tough it was for him in the beginning. They wanted him to have a tough guy image and be the guy flashing his abs and biceps, and that's really not him at all (he does love to stand out....just not in a tough guy way). He was so relieved when he got to be more like himself later on. As other people have mentioned, V had a longer haired wig that he was supposed to cut and he accidentally cut some of his own bangs.....he was not impressed...lol. Thanks for reacting.

if you notice, the wall behind them is the one from the beginning of the WAB:Eternal MV. the original studio they'd practice 16-18 hrs a day, until the mirrors were so fogged up they couldn't see themselves anymore. and they still think they don't work hard enough for us!

For other dance practices: Boy in Luv - it's got the same vibe of Danger - satisfying formation changes, good expressions, etc. Attack on Bangtan - a fun song with a fun, energetic choreo that's just. all over the place. I Need U - emotional choreography, formation changes on Point, a dance break that continues to kill me Run - insane footwork, they ate this up like it was a real performance Blood, Sweat, & Tears - because it's Blood, Sweat, & Tears And my personal favorite is "Spring Day." It's not as choreo heavy as the ones I've mentioned, but there are parts where their synchronization is wild. I like this choreography because it's more about telling a story.

I absolutely love the choreography to Danger. I also really love I Need U and Blood Sweat And Tears choreo! The Dark and Wild era is a whole mood along with Wings! DNA is also pretty difficult choreography too.

Jimin has said recently that even to this day danger is one of the hardest choreos they have done, and back then I think an old back up dancer commented that they'd practice upto 16 hours a day

This dance practice continues to be my all time favorite to watch. I'm not sure that makes it better or worse than others, but I honestly think this one is the most in sync they've ever been (which is saying a lot because they're crazy precise in all of them....even the Halloween ones -,-) I just love it because RM, Suga, & Jin....our "non-dancers" are completely indistinguishable from the dance line and for some reason knowing the Agust D and the RM who delivered "Joke" are, in fact, dance monsters when they want to be. And don't get me started on Jin, he's beyond impressive. I love these humans LOL

It's just a dance practice video. Yet they really are synchronized in the moves. The "touch your neck" choreo afded to their moves was uniquely executed. I heard they practice like 7-8 hrs or even 10 a day in that studio to perfect their moves. All their dance moves are lit. Same with Fire, Not Today, Mic Drop their moves amazes me. They all look good in their moves...the swag and all.

Before anything else, you guys have too react to their new MMA 2020 live Performance. They did amazing!!! Personally Danger is my favorite dance practice but as a dancer if I'm rating based on technique and other things that make the dances hard I would say 1. Idol 2. Boy in Love And DNA is a really hard dance as well.

I love the foot work they do on DOPE. But in the form of where they move around alot with some contemporary maybe BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS. last I would say TOMORROW live. There's just something about that song that gets to me .

The footwork in this dance is really sick. They're so in sync. By the way, V was supposed to cut his fake bangs but he accidently cut his actual hair. You can see it in behind the scenes videos and he was so shocked. His reaction was priceless.

This was back in 2014 when their dancing was more firm and isolated where they literally would practice until they collapsed but as you seen through their other videos over the years it became firm and loosen 😌 They always practice as if they’re on stage, this is a completed video of their choreography because they rarely release behind the scene footage of them practicing since it’s their private hour unless leaked by a third party and/or officially released by the company & the members’ themselves (selfcams/vlives).

Hey guys, I LOVE that you did both the dance practice and the music video. So great. I'm telling you, I NEED U has a killer dance practice and it starts the BU ( Bangtan Universe) if you're ready to dive down that rabbit hole. It is also the song that really got their ball rolling and people started noticing them more. N.O. is also an amazing song about the harsh education expectations put on the youth. There is a "red pill", fighting, violins, and a whole lot of swag. Great video guys, as always. Looking forward to the next one. Sending good vibes and stay safe 💜

Danger is one of its kind. Even BTS members dont wish to perform the whole choreography again. Same goes to BS&T, Idol, Fake Love, and ON. It takes so much energy and stamina to sing and dance the whole chereography. I think each one of them are really good and difficult and one of a kind indeed.
