This is making me realize that a comedy show, think friends, 70s show etc, based on identical twins would legitimately be really good

I knew twins that were born 2 minutes apart just at the right time that they had different birthdays. For several years they tried getting their mom to let them have 2 separate birthdays parties.

Not a twin (only child}, but my dad and i were considered twins. I never saw it until his last days in the hospital (brain cancer). I couldn't touch him, so i leaned over where he could see me easily. I raised my head, looked in the mirror, and there was my dad staring back at me. That was the first time i realized we looked alike. All that is preamble. Went to church with my mom the day after Dad's funeral. We were sitting in their usual spot toward the back when his best friend walked in, saw me, and stopped, white as s ghost. After a few seconds, the color returned to his face, and he started chuckling. He came up to us and said i scared him to death until he realized it was me.

I have an identical twin sister. So this wasn't on purpose but my husband and I used to work at the college library before we started dating. When we first started dating he started talking about this whole time he thought I was messing with him. Because he would sometimes see my sister when he was working and she would ignore him but then later see me and I had a completely different outfit and attitude (I'm a bit more friendly). So he thought that I was just one person who kept messing with him by changing the clothes throughout the day and the way I acted. 🤣 He couldn't even image that I might have been a twin. Luckily it didn't take him to long afterwards to be able to tell us apart since my sister and I dress completely different, though he is still unable to tell us apart in my baby photos.

My 2 younger sisters are not twins. They are about 2 or 3 years apart. The teachers in there school always got them confused with each other. Lol. They had to consistently tell the teachers that it was the other sister they wanted. Lol. It was funny as hell.

we are identical + bose twins + with simillar names, Tery and Veru. we go to the same class. we sometimes come half merged just to mess with people. we sometimes go to bathroom to merge in a different way than we were before to mess with people. neighbors think we are conjoined twins but can't agree how many arms we have because we change it when seeing neighbor. also, aura readers can't tell us apart because we are bose, so we mess with aura readers who are even more convinced we are one person. we have an aura reader in class that can tell us apart by "active string passing", but for that needs to talk to one of us for a few minutes every day.

Not really abusing power, but my twin and I are actors in a stage show. It is a psychological thriller show about a man and all the (mostly undead or revived) people he owns. My twin and I play telepathic twins that can see ghosts. On stage we look like the twins from the shining. During the show it is made painfully clear that we are twins and one look at us should confirm this. Every few shows there is someone asking us if we really are twins. Without fail we tell them we just met a few hours before the show and didn't know each other before hand! Somehow they always believe us. But it is loads of fun to stand there next to my twin and tell people that the ghosts of their loved ones are telling them they are going to die soon! Oh, edit: My partner has accepted that my twin will always be important to me and he has grown to see her as part of his family as well. And before you ask, no, he is not interested in dating her or more with her. we are all so close to the point that the three of us share hotel rooms if we are out together. Anyway, we were on a festival and there was this guy (who had come from a different country) that was interested in my sister. My partner took this guy to the side and told him he could try and see how interested she was, but to not do anything inappropiate, my partner and I would be watching. At some point we were all watching a band and everyone had walked away for a bit, leaving me alone. This guy came back, saw me all alone, and since he hadn't bothered to learn to tell us apart, grabbed my breasts from behind and tried to dance with me. When I told the others they were pissed and his own friends almost beat him up over this and almost didn't take him home. I am still friends with those guys, since they dropped that bastard the moment he was home! If you want to date twins, learn them apart! Twins are not into people that can't tell them apart (or at least don't try), since it shows that you don't really care about them.

In a Muslim marriage class years ago, the teacher was explaining about marriage rights and things that would cause problems in a marriage and how to do when bad things happen, when he told the story of someone who married twins. He married the older, but almost done the deed with the younger during their first night, until the older sister found out. It causes an uproar in the class as we all don't know what to do, even if we all are adults and the teacher ask us for the answer. Defeated, we all listened to the stern warning on not to confuse our spouses. If done deliberately there are consequences you have to deal with the religious department, but in the case of mistaken identity, the husband has to take the blame, and raise the kid as his own. Either way, it's not going to be good.
