Ngl, this is probably the best Identity Crisis cover currently out there on the platform. I think the one I was gonna make would have been worse, even though I tend to go all out with the writing for my lyrics nowadays (although like 99% of them didn't make it onto my channel). Congratulations, your writing has managed to impress me! Which is something that rarely happens. You did a fantastic job on this cover and you deserve way more views than it actually got. This is a masterpiece and I don't think many people could deny that. I like the direction you went for with the lyrics, it's different from the norm yet the same at the same time. Quite awe inspiring how you managed to do something like that. The VAs you chose did a wonderful job voiciing the characters, I especially like Shy's performance as Red. Gonna also say that my favourite lines have to be "I've grown, evolved and never stayed, danced through storms, tasted the rain" as well as "And yet you still failed to grieve for this lost soul trying their best to find their home". Something about those 2 just hits so much harder than it probably should for me, lmao. At this part, I'd normally try to break down the lore of what I just watched but honestly? I can't tell what the lore is here, other than Monotone being a shapeshifter and believing he's perfect and thus wanting to beat BF. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me on that. Overall, fascinatingly well done with this cover, I enjoyed every passing moment of it. From the writing to the voice work, everything hits just about right and that's quite an achievement in this community. I see a great future ahead of you, my friend. Keep up the good work while making sure not to overwork yourself, and pay attention to make sure you aren't draining yourself with what you do. After all, the most important aspect of making something is to have fun doing it, rather than how many views it gets. To which I must ask, are you doing alright? This is a good lyric video but I have one major criticism. Monotone and bfs lyrics don't rhyme with each other so at the some parts the lyrics sound jumbled up.
