The Asylum and the Town are the 2 maps with the most eastereggs and secrets hidden!! It's really interesting! In the Asylum the secrets are mostly related to the story of IDV but in the Town it's mostly references to Japanese legends!

Where it says “I will find you” I think it was written with the blood of hell ember when the lawyer lit his factory on fire. It was probably directed to the lawyer wanting to find him after he knew what he had done to him.

1:51 it means "This is not a dungeon" It was added kinda as a joke in one of the sesons beacouse in seson 1 and 2 a lot of pepole thought this was the dungeon and they could escpae through it. 3:07 There was acually a body beafore but it was removed beacouse of chinese censorship :/ In 8v2 version of eversleeping town there is a school, the one you mencioned is a train station. Anyway in the school in one of the gril batchrooms upon entering one of the batchroom stols opens and there is a follower peeking at you. She quickly closes the door tho. Another thing about the school is that it acually had 3 floors but beacouse of balace issues with pristess they where delited. Another ANOTHER thing is that on the roof of the school there is a really rare chanse of a dool appering, after looking at it for some time they will jump and shatter. Eversleeping town is a crossover map with Junji ito (I think that's how you pronaunce it) and that's why it has so much more of the "horror" aspect. Another thing is that in the train on one of thechairs there are two dools seeting There is a lot of ester eggs on eversleeping so this will be a long comment ;-; Ok the next one is one some blocks, somtiems you can see hands going out of them trying to grab onto somthing You can find wu chang's umbrella in a lot of places There is a cat on one of the lanters, Idk if it's in the new version of the map but I'm 100% shure it's on 2v8

In the case it isn't, The only other character in the game called Emily is the doctor, whose story has been revealed mostly and never once was there a mention of a husband or a marriage. Of anything, Miss dyer was married to her work. Which is why I can believe that it is a reference to something else. A lot of things in the game are reference, even full on characters like the bloody queen being a play on Mari Antoinette

You're pretty much on point about the factory! The details about the connections between the map and Hell Ember are actually explained in the first batch of survivor diaries (specificaly Doctor's iirc) including the "I will find you" on the wall.

I’m pretty sure eversleeping town is based in Japan since geisha is from Japan and that’s her husband’s home town. I think they wrote in Chinese since idv did come from China so (also please do white sand street asylum since that map has a lot of secrets lore wise)

Im chinese who knows a bit of Japanese and ill try to translate some of the characters in eversleeping town 4:39 is probably a bar because the last character is mostly associated with alcohol. The characters ﾒｰｶーis most likely just a name in katakana (characters usually used for foreign words but sometimes can be used for names) 4:41 is a restaurant with the word in the middle meaning food and the one in front meaning town on the bottom theres a character meat so it would mean they sell meat. Lastly 4:43 on the top is probably the towns name unfortunately i cannot see the characters in front but the last character means town on the bottom is Japanese hiragana (Japanese characters) spelling yokoso meaning welcome after that is the character water and the rest is not clear I hope i translate them correctly 😊

Something I noticed when playing custom with my brother was that hunters can see things that survivors don’t, like the glowing gravestone in Eversleeping or some of the black writings on the walls in the asylum. We were standing right next to each other ingame, but I as a hunter could see these and he as a survivor not. I’m not sure if it’s always like this tho. Anyways, thank you for the video, I never noticed some of the things you mentioned!

Eversleeping Town is based on Japanese culture and the writing you see is a blend of kanji (Chinese characters) as well as both katakana and hiragana. A lot of the signs you are unfamiliar with simply allude to the fact that is a shopping street. 扇子専門メーカー販売: specialty made folding fans for sale 買い物 shopping 商店街 shopping street / shopping district 丼鳥肉: this is a type of restaurant that specializes in rice dishes (丼: donburi) that are topped with various types of meats and the like. These are just a few observations. I hope they help!

idk if this is something other people already know but i actually just noticed it on my own by accident in the eversleeping town map- there's actually some type of small doll of a man in blue without legs dragging himself in circles (not sure if it always appears on the same spot but i found it on the train rail in one of the spawn points)

i love sandstreet asylum, because it has lots of paintings and easter eggs etc. theres also a painting of the virgin mary in hospital which i think is cool

The symbol you were asking about is a kind of unique cross. It’s a symbol of divinity in the church. It’s a stylistic choice so it’s not always recognizable if you don’t know!

The corose in hospital was supposed to be martha in early beta version of game she had a sheet on her and somtimes she would try to free herself and shouted LEO its sad they removed it About arms factory part i will find you is a reference to hatred of leo to lawyer and he can't forgot lawyer at all

Usually clocks and watches on display, if they aren't powered, they will always be displayed at 10 minutes to 2. It is just a simple display that is pleasing to the eyes.

In Eversleeping Town This not the school it is the train station. The cursed grave based on junji ito universe. And the real school can you see but you can not in. But in duo hunter costume mode can you in. For a little moment you can see a mechanic doll jump from the roof. The doll crashes down.

Funny enough, when I first started playing Identity V back in 2018, in one of the matches I was the last survivor and I desperately crawled to this dugeon looking area in grave yard. I was downed and the hunter just followed me to where I crawled to and embarrassingly, I finally realized that it wasn't dungeon. 😭 They did not have that sign back in the days. I recently started playing IDV again on pc.

The Eversleeping Town map has Japanese writings instead of Chinese due to the crossover with Junji Ito - a Japanese Horror Manga. As a Japanese speaker (since i’m a foreigner living in japan for 16 years, my whole life UwU) I can read all of the writings. It basically just states the names of the shops and says “Welcome” at the top banner. Typically, it mirrors how the actual shop streets and houses in traditional Japan are like and is actually really well done! Hope this helps!

“I Will Find You” is a reference to Freddy Riley and Leo Beck’s connection. Hell Ember wrote it on the wall before he lit the entire arms factory on fire and died with it, almost as if he knew that lawyer would be afflicted by his actions for the rest of his life. It’s also a reference to lawyer-doctor connection, because the window next to it is where doctor seems to have died? (The hunters have been confirmed as hallucinations from the survivors so I don’t know how doctor could have died from hell ember, who was dead.) Lawyer vowed to kill the doctor that let his wife die in surgery, and that happens to be Emily. So in a way the words “I Will Find You” represent all of the characters stories in the first game.

The i will find you is actually connected to lawyer and hell ember because Leo(hell ember) his wife and daughter where living fine he decided to buy a factory to get the best of life for his daughter(emma) the lawyer was at the same time dating Leos wife leo left them all and went to his factory to find lawyer there burning it down without hesitation leo helped the workers inside burning himself (why he wears the mask) and swearing revenge on the lawyer and to remind himself everyday he carved it into the wall

this is so cool, i didnt kno a lot of this! altho the sign in the wedding part of Red Church is actually a reference to the movie The Corpse Bride! a lot of that map was inspired by the movie, i think its a favorite of the devs'! id really like to see another video like this but for moonlit river, lakeside town, golden cave, and white sand street! chinatown has a few secrets too, but i think most people have found those, like how you can light the kiln or Tracy's shop!

With Arms Factory, the word 'arms' is commonly associated with weapons. As for the factory itself, if you do the doctor's diaries, the fourth and final diary takes place in Arms Factory. Freddy Riley asks Emily to team up with him, where if she helps him escape, he grants her his full 'protection'. In the factory, they explain al the machines and the whole 'I will find you' bit. I suggest you play it if you haven't already, it's very fun and gives you her dark side skin. Leo is indeed Emma's dad, and Martha, the coordinator, is Emma's mom. Martha left Leo for Freddy, hence them being a married couple. Freddy is not aware that Martha is in this game, but he knows Emma is there. The reason it's not a big deal is because Emma had changed her name. Emma and Freddy hadn't ever met previously, when Emma turned 16 (I believe??) she moved to her own home. With the other diary deductions coming out, I suggest completing character deductions! Good Luck, fellow detectives.
