I know people don't like the voice here but I think it suits her. Her voice sounds hoarse but also vengeful, as if she's been singing and screaming for so long that her throat caved in.

It also seems like when she lost her voice, she didn't have much of a reason to keep meeting with the lady in the red dress, which is devastating considering it looked like she was harshly abused to perform well and the lady was probably the only person who loved her.

Ok so let me get this straight: - 0:06 This is the Opera Singer after the events of the trailer. - 0:09 She was abused (she gets scars on her back, probably because she’s not good enough to be opera singer?) - 0:18 She used to not attract a big audience until she met a woman who wore red clothing. - 0:34 The woman in red helped her (such as by putting on the Opera Singer’s makeup) - 0:42 Suddenly, she lost her voice on the night she was supposed to perform (could the culprit have been the woman in red?) (Probably because the bird the cage signifies the Opera Singer and its throat gets pierced by a rose who represents as the woman in red!!) - After that, Opera Singer and the woman in red went on their seperate ways - 0:51 But even so, Opera Singer returned to the stage because she still wanted to perform. Woman in red was suprised by this! - The ending? I’m not sure what happened. I’m guessing that as Opera Singer perfomed, the audience cheered until a fire broke out so instead of cheering, they were screaming. My theory is that Opera Singer caused the fire before going up stage.

The painting at 0:42 also really reminds me of the story “the Nightingale and the Rose” by Oscar Wilde. A previous reference to another story of his was done, Postman’s “Happy Prince” skin. The nightingale overhears a student being upset that his professor’s daughter won’t dance with him unless he gives her a red rose. The nightingale searches all over for a red rose, to no avail. A rose tells her that in order to produce a red rose, she must sing the sweetest song while pressing her heart against the thorns. The nightingale loves the student and wants him to be happy, so she sacrifices herself to create a beautiful red rose. The student takes the rose to the professor’s daughter, only to get rejected by her again. Another man has given her real jewels and “everyone knows jewels cost more than mere flowers”. The student throws the rose away into the gutter, deciding to not believe in true love anymore. Listen i really might be reaching here too. It’s just that the whole nightingale thing really fits into IDV lore stuff

@@atrudokht They are undead, many of these hunters are undead. Michiko is literally based on an Onryo, a vengeful spirit. Maria Antonia is undead as you can see her literal stitches on her neck of where she was beheaded. Then there is Percy who is literally called the undead.

She was once an amazing Opera singer in her youth but due to her aging her voice changed but she desperately wanted her old voice back so the mysterious lady in red helped her get her young voice but at a price

I think the story is that she in her youth suffering from abuses from her parent (possibly her dad since we saw her mom - the old lady who apears at the very first second of the trailer, looks pretty ill and weak) and she desperately want to be an opera singer to make her own living, to ran away from her house. But she, as an opera singer, does not actract much of an audience at first. But the moment she meet that lady in red, she got her self an helping hand, who help her to be successful in her career later on. But then, something happens, Sangria lost her beautiful voice the day she was supposed to perform (possibly due to that lady in red, since we saw the bird which represents Sangria got it's neck stabed by a rose which grow from the lady's side) then they choosed to go on their seperated way. But eventually, Sangria returned, wanting to complete her unfinished performance. The the fire rose, burned everybody who attend that performance to ashes
