I really wish Paradox followed suit with many popular mods by having an expansive ideology list. For instance having fascism separate from national socialism or Marxism separate from Stalinism. At least adding two more ideologies would give so much more diversity to countries instead of just 4 choices.

I prefer non-alignet because that's that you cannot bring it back makes this ideology unique in some ways

Communists have -30% puppet cost though so depending on the circumstance, they can get more puppets than fascism. So it's not 99% of all cases, but fascism puppets are still usually better. It's situational. I'm going to compare communism and fascism because those two are the ones contending for numero uno. First, we have to look at there game Philosphy, and that's quite simple because it's as it was historically. Communism was slow and steady, building up to be better than the big bad. Fascism was that big bad, that started out strong but got weaker as it progressed, not because of anything it was doing, but because everyone else was better. This is reflected in 2 things: Conquest, and Puppets. Communism is slow and steady, having more time for conquest but less consequences. They also have better options in a peace conference if other people are in it, due to their -30% puppet cost. They then have to spend more time getting even stronger by integrating those puppets. Fascism on the other hand, has to be at war with a major to even get their conquest buff, which reflects how fascism really needed a strong enemy to fuel the populace in order for them to let the government conquest like that. This means that fascism can expand quicker and get results quicker(due to the puppet autonomy thing), but the problem comes when you can't get those results because other people are in the peace conference, so you have to go to war with them. In conclusion, Its situational. Fascism is better if you're soloing everyone as quickly as possible and don't mind using some cheese to get that -80% justification time, but communism is better if you're looking for a stronger and more reliable way to play.
