Since the conflict began on October 7, 2023, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have encountered a new challenge amidst the ongoing Gaza war: an influx of feral dogs from Gaza into Israeli territory. These large dogs, believed to be associated with Hamas, have become an unexpected threat for Israel, with over 1000 strays reported to have crossed the border.
