When I see Mr Vaidynathan talking I see great hope in IDFC First Bank.I am sure some day IDFC First Bank will be a great Bank.

INR 3k cr profit growth from INR 2.4k cr is misleading. Growth in EPS is important for shareholders wealth creation. Management and VV really need to fix this issue. Growth in profit with equity dilution adds no value to shareholders.

Why are the provisions going up whenever asset quality is improving? I fail to understand this

No one had the guts to ask him why provisions have gone up so much. VV pretends to care about ethics etc. - isn’t this a question he should have handled first off the bat? He is an expert talker. If he wants to raise capital but the share price is in the ditch, why does he not offer a Rights Issue? At least the existing shareholders may get some additional shares. I bet he will do another private placement and dilute equity even further with the existing shareholders worse off.

What is benefit for retail and qip investors? The price in 2015 was 85 and now the share price is 80. Is it improvement? The cmd only bother about his friends relatives and employees and he is not worried about investors from the beginning of this bank. Even yes bank is build up its carrier but this bank is struggling by the misleading and non efficiency management. Nine years the share price is 80 only. Cheating the poor investors by sweet speaking as above. Many Rtd peoples lost their hard earned money who entered in the beginning of the bank. Many of my friends exit in this share after losing their money. This interview is only show manner. There is no use. Again and again all profit money going to provision. Why the RBI is allowed? God only knows and punish him soon.

Obviously, this fellow is not what he pretends to be. Every now and then there is a news that he "donated" lakhs of shares to, like, drivers, teachers, petty cash lenders. Can such persons pay even the gift tax on such 'donations'..?? Highly doubtful. He promised reverse merger with IDFC Ltd., before March 2024. Nothing happened. When market is going up and up, this fellow's bank share price has been going down consistently for the past 9 months. He is a good manipulator and manages paid promotions like this interview. All lower level officers are highly demotivated as he grants largesse ony for his senior level officials who are his chamchas.
