My 22 year old niece was being pulled in an innertube by a recreational boat. She kept signalling the person driving the boat to go faster and faster. He complied and she eventually flipped off the innertube and landed screaming on the water. Because she was screaming she had her mouth open and the g-force of the water ripped her mouth open from the corner of her mouth to almost her ear. Fortunatly a quick thinking person put an ice cold soda can to her injury which kept it from swelling and curling this action and a fantastic plastic surgeon on duty in the ER saved her from a very visible scar.

You ain't seen ANYthing "Tubing" behind a boat until you get into S.Louisiana rivers where as you go on the turn you run up under the overhanging tree limbs & see all the snakes dropping off the limbs you just were under.... Not kidding you a bit & if you've ever been there you'll know what I'm talking about? In the deep south & in rivers that aren't very wide the boat has to cut hard & the tube goes faster/faster while you run up along the shore & those hanging tree limbs get lots of snakes on them in summertime. IT's a krazy thing to behold as you zip under those branches & the snakes start dropping fast like as fast as you go by they're falling...... lots of them but it only takes one bite to make ya sICK? peace
