@@carambagel You are absolutly dumb there bud. There wasnt plenty of room. Wide lenses make everything look like theres more distance than there is. Even then there wasnt distance. He is literally slowing down as the video starts and the traffic is almost in line with the building. Then theres the fact there is an intersections behind them. You are not supposed to block intersections at all so again the people stopping are not supposed to.

@@davefb Stick. People usually leave it on gear especially during winters in case the handbrake freezes. I don't know if it really works on automatics, though.

wrong, it's not reaction or quick thinking, it's called paying attention to your surroundings and not staring at the car in front only. I always see things coming too, because I look past the car in front of me. Also sense of speed is important when driving, personally if it was up to me .. anyone who doesn't have sense of speed, would never be allowed to drive anything faster than a bicycle. like the one who called it, but just had nowhere to go and also got hit .. he saw the crash coming from mile away because he had sense of speed and common sense.

Oh I missed that one. Mustang must have been a stick shift. Cuz if automatic couldnt start it in gear. I first drove a stick shift mustang when I was 8 years. My oldest brother was giving my 14 yr old sister her first driving lesson. She bucked and stalled. I did it no problem. She was pi$$ed at me!!

It happened in Hungary. Now hang on: the camera is in a public transport bus. The idiot wanted to "punish" the bus driver, because he cut him off. With a bus. Later he claimed a dog suddenly appeared on the road,this is why he emergency braked. As some people suffered some injuries to some degree,the idiot was actually charged.

4:33 The oncoming traffic was flashing their lights a universal signal for you can go now I won't hit you. Its like an unspoken rule where I'm from and can also mean cops are ahead be aware. You don't have to follow it but I would have taken the opportunity presented here every time. It may not be legal/how the road works but its pretty safe and convenient and keeps the flow of traffic moving which is the main thing. Busy intersections with heavy traffic is where this usually occurs for me. Sometimes its the only chance you'll get to merge safely and in a timely manner. Someone letting you in even if they don't have to, is a courtesy. And so I do the same courtesy for others where I can too.

@@markmidwest7092 turning (not passing) over double lines is legal (almost everywhere) - this was in Penn. it's legal. Had he have turned he would've been impeding traffic and at fault for any collision had the guy who stopped decided to hit him. The people who stop are not supposed to as they are impeding traffic. It's a lot easier and safer to drive according to the laws... since if everyone follows them, you can easily predict what's going to happen and when. When people decide "I'm going to be "nice" and do a thing I shouldn't, look how considerate I am" they can be hit from behind or cause others to react to a situation they weren't expecting, because it's not supposed to happen.

'Right-of-way', 'insurance fraud' and 'impeding the flow of traffic' are apparently all foreign concepts wherever you're from. Don't yield to traffic that is _required by law_ to yield to you. Not a difficult concept, which is why the people who failed to grasp it were labeled "fucking morons" by the cammer. PSA: Holding up traffic behind you isn't a courtesy. Quite the opposite.

It didn't necessarily start, with it in gear there is enough power in the starter motor to drive it forward. It was an electric car for about 1 second!

@@morfadave1947 Yeah, but some modern cars won't even let the starter work when not put in neutral before. My car won't start if I don't push the brake. I can do whatever I want, no brake - no engine starter. In addition I have to put it in park - my car has an automatic gearbox but should do as an example.

In the US, they just give it to you. The requirements for a driver's license are surprisingly trivial - basically have to be able to drive around some neighborhood streets for 15 minutes without speeding, coming to complete stops at stop signs, and use turn signals. And manage to not hit anything. So you have to follow "the rules," but not actually know how to drive, much less deal with actual traffic.

He was upset at the person flashing their lights, not the car behind him. You're not supposed to do that. If you have the right of way, then you go. Then the next car did it too which irritated him more. It's more important to be predictable and follow the rules of the road than to be courteous.

You don't have to flash your damn lights at somebody if you doing what you're supposed to do. They were causing cars to bunch up behind them for no good reason. The best way to be predictable is to simply follow the rules of the road.

@@parttimehuman There was no build up when the first car tried to give way... the only build happened because the knob recording decided not to take it and left the second car confused hence putting the 3rd car to a stop. Its very simple, instead of accelerating, he flashes for you to go (while still moving, hence no real buildup), instead of staying and causing all that confusion (while keeping your side of the lane in an unnecessary buildup), just take the opportunity; go and thank them.

i dont know why this triggers me so much, but it seems like some people recording are completely oblivious to the surroundings around them, like ive seen so many people get into accidents where i saw the idiot coming from a mile away

Yes but the dash cam allows them to be ignorant. I’ve watched so many of these videos where people will get cut off and the person with the dash cam will accelerate into the other vehicle. They state that after showing the video they got off.

That’s because the people recording are also just regular people, and some of them ARE the idiots in cars. But in their defense, sometimes what you an I can see coming sitting at home watching it on KZfaq, is not as obvious when you’re on the road.

I have a question: Is turning left from another street allowed in a four lane road in america? In germany, you are only allowed to follow the traffic to the right with multiple same directiin lanes.

I believe so, but each State may have different laws, which may or may not allow it. Traffic laws are normally set by the State, not Federal government. I have seen it posted also even on a single lane where there may have been a high percentage of accidents in the past and they deem it too dangerous to allow a left.

Depends on which state you are in. Some do, some don't. Like here in California, it's completely legal to turn right on a red light as long as the traffic allows it, unless a "no turn on red" sign is posted. But in the next state over, Arizona, you cannot do it at all.

In Maryland, you can turn left if the light is green but no green arrow, you just yield to oncoming traffic.

@@000BlackSoul000AMVs Not sure I understand your question, but Yes, we are allowed to turn left even if there's no traffic light. From my experience in NY State: If there are multiple lanes then you must turn left from the leftmost lane, and if it is not a turn lane, this unfortunately stops traffic behind you in that lane until you're able to turn. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. Very common on Long Island.
