Out of the 3 released tracks so far. This one is just ok. Bit too generic for my preference. Just feels like an outtake from mono. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing much to it.

I don't disagree, but here my take: Joe cited this song was about his alcoholic mother. The call/response element through most of the song, I think, is a kind of conduit to invite others who've been affected by alcohol to bring it to the surface, share it, and heal. It's less about the music and more about a call to break 'The Wheel'.

I’m interested in hearing the studio version before I make a final judgment, but I think I’m gonna like it, it grew on me with several listens and is stuck in my head. I’m thinking not really going anywhere is sort of the point of the song? Cycles of addiction, repeating itself, and so it turns… the wheel… again and again… etc.
