The adult catechism class that we have after mass was about this last Sunday. They put the scheduled topic aside to talk about the synod and to go over the condensed version of what they were meeting about. I go to an SSPX church though.

Our NO/TLM parish pastor talked about it after the synod opened. Good priest that he is. But with the “loyalty oath” coming at the bishops here in the US, I imagine many faithful priests will be seriously tested. We need to gird our loins for both white and red martyrdom. This “pope” is a regular gangster and he won’t tolerate dissent from even priests like ours who tolerate the NO. Jorge hates us already, and I pray I have the fortitude my parents had-they refused to even attend the NO a third time after it was instituted. I wasn’t quite 10yrs old. We attended Melkite, Maronite, Byzantine rites, at monasteries with elderly priests...and prayed the Rosary every night. We were early SSPX, then FSSP, then finally B16’s semi-restoration happened just in time for my parents to have TLM funerals! Here we go-again.

Nowhere in any Catholic document ever written does it say to offer sacrifice to Mary (which is what worship is in the Bible, offering sacrifice). Mary is our intercessor in heaven. In 1 Timothy 2:1, St. Paul says that intercessory prayer is a good thing. Luke 1:46 says that Mary’s soul magnifies the Lord, and that has to be a good thing. Anybody who says that Mary is dead doesn’t read his Bible, specifically Luke 20:38, which says that God is the God of the LIVING, not the dead.
