About I Dream of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. When astronaut Tony Nelson is forced to crash-land on a remote Pacific island, he finds a strange bottle that's washed ashore. When he opens it, out pops a genie named Jeannie. Not only does she get him back to civilization safely, she also smuggles herself aboard the rescue plane. Jeannie becomes Tony's constant companion. This is so hilarious! Tonny couldn't sleep, instead he stayed all night long watching Jeannie's jeannie nephew! Larry is so funny either.

I like to ear the General Peterson when he's upset with Tony and doctor bellows!! It's the first time he is angry in both of characters (Tony Nielson and doctor Bellows)!!!

Can we get the full episode, please? This is so funny and I'd love to see the whole thing!😂 1:39 - 1:48 is probably the best part of this clip! I just love the way Larry Hagman plays it and the way he says his line. Jeannie and Tony will always be one of my favorite TV couples! Thank you for reminding us all of their wonderful comedic adventures.

I liked Peterson better than his replacement but I believe the actor (Barton McClane) passed away during the run of the show.

Strange, Dr B. was a psychiatrist not a medical doctor. Why’s he always giving Tony psychical exams?

Normally a psychiatrist studies medicine first to become a normal doctor and then specializes with additional studies to become a psychiatrist.

In Season 2 "My Wild-Eyed Master", Dr Bellows said he is the Chief Medical Officer, so it makes perfect sense. There are many types of doctors and psychiatrist is one type but they all have to do the basic same training so he would know how to do basic physical examinations. They always seem to be things like taking temperature, blood pressure and taking blood and interpreting the results, which are all things nurses or less, can do.
