Jai ho was composed by Rahman for Yuvvraaj movie in 2008. It was not used in the movie for some unknown reason, hence Rahman requested the film director Subhash Ghai to allow him to use in his next film slumdog millionaire. Many idiots in thread sayin AR did not compose Jai Ho song! That’s not true and is not what RGV explained. It was AR idea that sukhvinder improvised and played for Subhash Ghai.
