I feel like she had to yell and be so straightforward with them *because* she didn't want anyone to get hurt. She could've been a little less straightforward, but she was literally just trying to protect her friends from getting hurt. If Lanolin hadn't been there, they could've been hit by someone's vehicle. If any of the three had gotten injured, they couldn't fight properly until they fully healed.

Don't be so hard on yourself; you're not petty. Lanolin is a being a total out of line boorish idiot! She's the least experienced one here, yet she's acting like she owns the place. Also, she could easily figure things out if she wasn't so busy TRYING to be as mean as a cartoon drill sergeant! I mean, it doesn't take a genius to suspect foul play here! Notice that it was Amy, not Tails, who came to that conclusion first? Furthermore, Tangle's reaction to her "bad cop" attitude PROVES that Tangle only said what she did to Silver in Issue 64 because Lanolin bullied her with that death glare! A few slaps to the head isn't gonna cut it. I wanna see Tangle LOSE IT with Lanolin and give her a big fat punch in the face with her tail, followed by a "reason you suck speech"! That being said, yeah, Mimic is the one who needs to die; not just because he's an utter scumbag, but because him being alive is hindering Whisper's character growth. She'll never stop constantly worrying about her friends dying until Mimic is dead; so the sooner he dies, the better.

I think you need to take the background into context. When did Lanolin first get into the line of work she's in?

It's the fact that she's the least experienced of the "heroes" yet asserts the rule book that most people DO hate her.

I don't fully hate Lanolin because I saw potential in her in the urban warfare arc and I can at least understand that she's by the book, but she does come off as harsh and being more concerned about the order of things than the feelings of others and misjudges and misunderstands people and situations and because of how they appear and because she believes in her own perspective and views and is a bit self-righteous, and unfortunately has blamed the wrong people for what happened in issues 63, 64 and 69 because of how it appeared and didn't think to properly investigate. On one hand she needs a reality wake up call that's half satisfying but also played for sympathy. On the other hand, she deserves to become more sympathetic and feel some guilt BEFORE Mimic's reveal/ exposure and while Whisper should be the one to defeat him, Lanolin should deliver a satisfying final blow, like Dogma in star wars the clone wars

​@@RobertJames-zs7xc Honestly, I'd be fine if Eggman, Clutch, Surge, or Kit killed him. What matters is that he dies, so that Whisper can grow as a character. Personally, though, I'd like Sonic to meet him and kick him around. Don't forget that Mimic was introduced doing menacing things while wearing SONIC'S face!

I still hate Lanolin ok for some reason she thought she could pick a fight with my second favorite diamond cutter member, 2: it’s dumb how she always sticks to the rule book and she is a stick in the mud, 3: I hate how she kicked silver out the diamond cutters, 4: I hope Dou, Lanolin, Surge and kit get stabbed in the heart physically and figuratively.

she kicked silver out of the diamond cutters for having the right suspicions about duo (mimic) despite him being far more experienced than her and whisper also agreeing. also in this comic she's just rude while kicking sonic out of the race for like no reason, even tangle having to point out how rude she was. not really as bad since she was right but she didn't have to yell at them.

@@SGWolfie it plays into a bit of what Clutch was saying. Clutch isn't a public figure, it doesn't send a message if Eggman were to drag him before a camera and do awful things to him. Not nearly the message of what destroying all of Clean Sweep regardless of how low on the ladder you are, for that one commercial. But at the same time, Clutch has been looting Eggman's stuff for years now, maybe even the Eggperial city, and he's sold to Starline and anyone else who wants or needs Eggman's tech, which would include the materials from all the past games, from what would have been used with the time eater, right down to the motobugs that faced Sonic anywhere from other dimensions to back during their first encounter, to on a strange island that had a weird little lizard girl who can turn into a Dragon. And who knows maybe Clutch has some of Eggman's old abandoned AI tech that he needs for a new clever idea he has to improve upon his Network.

And aren't they the ones that got her this job the first place that she looked up to once. And now she's treating them like this. Like it was an honest mistake and anything could have happened. But her giving them the boot after calling their machines faulty without any hard proof is not good. Because of her everyone is in danger. And what gets me real angry is that all this could have been avoided If she wasn't being dismissive about her team's concerns and being arrogant. She needs to get off her high horse for at least a few minutes and listen. Like leaving her teammate on the floor, crying, relieving those bad memories she had experience. And some people are saying that since she's a background character that's why people are mad. At first I was happy that were getting a new character. I didn't care that she was a background character at all since we got introduced to new characters through the series. I thought she was really chill and cool and had her moments. But as the series ran on the more I just disliked her. First she was just being dismissive, then she was just being prideful and underestimating a literal time traveler who has experience fighting, after that she was being dismissive again and literally rebuking Silver's claims of someone's eyes turning black, Then after they try to tell her and try to expose Duo AKA Mimic, she leaves her teammate on the floor during a PTSD episode and rebuke Silver making them quit and kicked of the team which she could have asked to just take off Duo's gloves, and now finally she is insulting people's machinery regardless of the fact that they could have gone hurt on the road at high-speed and just disqualified them instead of just opening up an investigation to see what happened and just checking the cameras if anything was up during the race or anything before that, being unprofessional. So yes I'm upset. Lanolin is overbearing, rude, blunt and just dismissive of everyone's feelings and treating everyone like soldiers.

So I hope she can apologize to everyone that she has hurt or at least let her because of her actions. I just want to hear apology for how she was treating everyone including her team and for she to just treat people better and learn more as a leader and as a friend if she does see it or not. And honestly I think it would be best for her to quit as leader and give the leadership to Whisper or Tangle since both of them has more experience than Lanolin. Whisper especially since this is her old team that she's trying to honor and to help those who can't help themselves, so I feel like it would be poetic to give it to her for leadership.

@@videogollumer nah, she’s the newest Sonic friend and they rarely have any interaction up to this point. She’s the type of character that likes structure and is very much a “no nonsense” type of character. It’s pretty understandable why she talked to them like that, especially seeing how she has a whole race to referee. Whether or not they make her apologize is up to the writer but she’s doesn’t deserve the hate for doing her job. Unfavorable but fair. Also she’s unaware of what the villains are planning and who they are, just like mostly everyone. If she’s getting manipulated, then so is everyone else who is unaware of it.

That's how I felt, too. Sonic just asks him what's his angle a couple minutes after he arrives and when Eggman says there isn't one they immediately team up. There should have been more of a hesitation considering how many times sonic has been tricked by eggman

You're JUST NOW complaining about that?! It happened in literally ALL of the Riders games! Also, they know that there's ill intent at play if someone tried to get rid of them.
