I found another way, You can go onto “messages” at the bottom of the app and then select your camera then you should see all the motion detection clips and then while the clips you want are playing you can press the “record” option which will start recording the clip and then press the “record” icon again to stop.

@@pwinkle Yes, that is one way to save a video. You can also use download. But where do they go? Well I found that they go to the Album. But the Album is not on the main screen on the app on my camera. You have to scroll the screen to left to expose second page. Then there will be an Album containing videos (and stills) saved by date. But problem is that the videos will not play. They do if saved to cloud, but not to SD. Clicking on the saved item (which appears blank) results in a never ending rotating arrow icon. I discussed this at length with ieGeek with no resolution on their part. Then, in desperation, I tried sharing the non-functional video with my gmail. Once there, I opened the attachment and amazingly it worked. It seems there is some sort of fault in the way the app handles saving videos downloaded or recorded to the Album. And perhaps not on all devices. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy of which there are millions out there, so they should get this to work.

@@GrahamM-sm1hv it looks like the download button just downloads the image of the video but if you click on the play icon then while the video is play on the app then press the record icon to save a video to the album section then share icon and go to save video which will save the video to your phone gallery. I may make a video on this

@@pwinkle I am almost certain I have used the download function (as well as record) to save videos to the album. I would check, but don't have any events on app at present.

I just tried this again. I watched a video then dragged the marker back to just before the vertical marks at the time motion was detected. Then hit the Download. The video was downloaded and appeared in the Album. As before it wouldn't run there, but did once I shared it with my gmail account

You need to go on your camera and press delete device. Then you need to press reset button under your camera for 4 sec and the app will find the camera and will ask you for your wifi and password, just choose the new one. Really essy

To my knowledge No you can’t

On the app press the “+ “ then “add device” then select the camera you have and follow the install steps

@@charleshoward4777 yes can change wifi units, if you connect your phone to the wifi unit you want your camera to connect too it should show that wifi unit when setting up
