Is it possible they will give result even weekends ? and how many days did you wait for your result ? because in my side this is my 17th day waiting for my result in eor

Also, I applied only for the writing and speaking sections, and I thought that choosing more sections might result in a longer processing time, but I'm not certain about that.

@@ephraimlion As I already said I think so about the above calculation. Bcz during my training period my trainer who is a former ielts examiner told me about this calculation that's it. I don't know much about it. Moreover there is no need for me to manipulate my results or lie about my results. The above results is my real ielts results that IDP had given me and I applied to an abroad university with these results and I already got offer letter, that's it.

What was the outcome?

There is some inconsistency with the information. Some sections can go down as well. If mistakes are noticed in the Listening or Reading, the score can actually drop. Of course, I will keep my finger crossed that get that half band more. Please let me know in a reply.

Update: just got an email regarding the amount refunded by the British Council for the EOR. However, I still haven't received my EOR results. Does this mean that my writing exam will be remarked?

@@melikebicici3110 I did not write anything I just requested to remark speaking section ,because Iwas sure that I wouldn't get 5.50 ,after 2 weeks maybe less ,I found that my band was raised and the comment was I didn't deserve to get 5.5 and they wrote that they heard my recording and found that I used lots of complex sentences . However , I did some grammatical mistakes ,so yes you can easily be raised in Speaking section

No, too much time has elapsed - you have three weeks from the time of your exam results.

Hey, I'm also from Uzbekistan and I got my results today. It was 6.5 overall but I needed 7. Listening: 7 Reading:7.5 Speaking:6 Writing: 6 I guess I could have gotten a better score from speaking cuz I was pretty confident and fluent . But I couldn't get to use fancy words so it must be the reason for not getting 7 . Still I believe 6.5 would be appropriate score for my speaking. In writing, actually I'm not sure if I could have done better. Cuz even though my task 2 was much reliable my task 1 was written in a rush. So can u give me some directions about remarking. Should I do it?

Ya, it increased by 0.5 in writting but not in reading.

It's almost impossible for Reading and Listening results to change because those are objectives. For Writing and Speaking, a change in scores possible and usually not more than 0.5 band increment.

So according to your experience it is wise decision to go for half band increment in writing? Because mine is 5.5 in writing. Please reply as soon as possible.

@@rohanbhardwaj2014 yes please. Don't hesitate and go for it if you need just a 0.5 band increment. It is a good risk, considering that the cost of remark is less than 50% of IELTS test cost, not to talk about the stress and anxiety of taking the whole exam again. Also, you'll get a refund of your money if there is a change in your result.

@@ephraimlion yes literally, i was terrified about my speaking before results but what happened! My speaking was cleared but unexpectedly in writing 5.5 . I only need .5 increase and able to fly over my dream country 😭😭

@@rohanbhardwaj2014 go for the remarking. A different examiner will look at your script again and it's very likely you'll get the 0.5 band increment.
