Hi!) Thanks for the video) I have a question. There is an example 'Time: from...to...pm'. How correctly to write the answer with coma or slash? And when the answer sometimes is needed to include p.m. or a.m. in it, how it's spelled correctly? Like this '9 p.m.' with comma or '9PM' without a gap and a comma? What's the word count would be in this case? Would be really thankful for the answer🙏

Thanks E2 Team for the update! Much appreciated. Personally, I think coffee should do the trick. The caffeine content in the coffee will make you alert and less susceptible to sleep. I gave my IELTS academic test on 29th Feb 2020 and to my surprise the question from the beginning were tough i.e from the 1st question they started to make you confuse you how they used to do it in last section in old format. I experienced this extreme change because i've given old format test too. so please listen to the audio very carefully but most importantly read the question properly to understand what they are asking.

Thank you so much Alex! That's very helpful. I get distracted very easily. Even though I prepared a lot, still I am not good at listening mock tests in E2 IELTS. I wonder why do they have to distract the test takers when they are honestly studying very hard for the exam. My writing, reading, and speaking have improved a lot due to your and Jay's youtube channel. I am very thankful for that. But listening exams always have tricks on them. In the international proficiency test of other languages such as french I don't find such deliberate distractions and tricks. Why do just English tests have them? Is it because this is like a business?

Hey Alex! I've been watching your videos to help me prepare for my exam in the coming week! I have a question concerning the 'case' of the answers. I'm going to write all my answers in the uppercase, however, one listening text provided an email id with exclusive instructions to jot it down in the lower case. Should I follow this instruction in my answer sheet as well or do I continue writing all responses in caps ? Thanks and regards.

Thanks a lot for creating such great content. Regarding your tips for listening, I do have couple of queries related to reading ahead when you get the time to review the answers. Firstly, while section 1 is in progress, is it possible to check out other sections? If I do that, will the current section’s audio stop forever and will the new section’s audio start? I’m a bit scared that if I go to a different section, the audio clip might reset to the new section and I’ll lose the previous section’s clip. To add on, is the audio a single continuous clip or is it the case where whenever I start a new section, the appropriate clip is played? I have my exam in 2 days, and it would be great if you could clarify these doubts in time! Once again, Thanks a lot!
