8/10 #2 was not able to answer #3 miss heard 35 to 25. Nice exercises though. I was doing this while I am having a 30min break at work. Thank you. Hope you post more of this kind of videos as well as other areas of the ielts exam.

Yay!! I went to a practice test course in my local without knowing anything about IELTS today an I did quite bad in my listening section. So I came here to learn the tips. Fortunately, I did the test here and I got 10 out of 10. I feel a lot better. There is still hope to improve then. Thanks a lot.

Thanks Alex... have couple of clarifications.... In sample questions, for the second one is it fine to write 19B Riverquay? and if there is number which they say OO as in 9900... should we consider this as letter O or number Zero

Hey Alex! I just got my IELTS result today. Got a 9 in listening, 8.5 in Reading, 8 in Speaking and 7.5 in writing. Did all the practice tests I could find and watched all the E2 language KZfaq videos. I'm so happy! Thanks for the free lessons.

Thanks Alex, you're an amazing Tutor. I answered all correctly, however I almost got misled with the spelling of 'Arjah' but then I bounced back because the pronunciation made the difference between an 'A' and an 'E'.

Scored 10 out of 10. E2 language videos are always very helpful, but I do have few other questions. So suppose for same test the first answer was not given i.e. Meeting date:____ June I could write answer as 16 will it be considered correct? It was said in this video that Computer Based test does not have any extra time, but I read from other students comments that they had 2 minutes to check their answer at the end. Is this correct? Also I came across one question from IELTS practice test (IELTS 9 - Test 2) which asked to select "NO MORE THAN A WORD AND/OR A NUMBER". This question was kind of form completion. So, the question was Birthdate: ______ and while listening I could hear 31st March 1972. When I checked the answer it was 31 March. How should we decide when to omit year, day or month. I wrote my answer as 31-MARCH-1972. One last question, can we write all listening and reading answer in CAPs in Computer Based Test also? I know for sure it is allowed in Paper Based Test.

For blank 1 in the "Hiring a meeting room' exercise, where the correct answer was 'Gemborough', I seem to have an issue. I wrote 'Genborough'. I think I am having a problem with differentiating between 'm' and 'n'. I have had that issue a lot of times. Is there a way to correctly tell the difference between an 'm' and 'n'?

10/10. But my problem is in singular -plural. I just can't hear s at the end. I need 8 in listening. Before I have got 8 in academic but last time in general I got 7.5. I have one doubt regarding the answers of use not more than 3 words type questions... For instance, the logical answer could be BIG SPACIOUS HOUSE... However, in the master key the answer is just HOUSE. So will our answer get wrong if we write big spacious house as we can write 3 words as per the instructions.??

Hello, # I was able to answer but have given space between the word 'riverquay' and written as 'river quay' and because of these kinds of mistakes, I lost most of the marks in the listing mock test. Could you please provide me some suggestions on when to give space to words and when we should not?
