I gave my speaking test yesterday and I managed to gather lot of important tips from IELTS Daily videos. I binge watched all the videos two days prior and happy to say I gained a lot of confidence through it when facing the real exam. Thank you Chris and all the resource personnel in IELTS Daily channel. Will update here when my results are out. Keep up the good work! Edit: So I got my results today and I scored Overall 8.0 with L8.5, R8.5, S8.0 W6.5 I did not have much time to practice writing and I couldn't manage my time properly in the exam. I suggest everyone to practice time management for writing so you won't miss the crucial elements you should include in the essay. All the best everyone!

@@joyalasir Thank you. What I regret is not practicing time management. When you get the bar chart question and the essay question time just flies by just as quick. And I wrote and erased multiple times trying to include every essay technique, but at the end I missed certain key points that I should have included. So what I suggest is practice timing as much as possible. Do as many as practice questions. If you take paper based test practice writing speed . But I suggest to take a computer based test since I guess that makes life easier.

News from a fan :D my results came out pretty good. I expected it to be around 7 to 7.5 overall but it turned out much better. I got 8.0 overall, Reading 9, Listening 9, Speaking 8, and Writing 6. I had been an English reader for a long time but found IELTS reading to be difficult still. Then I use Chris's strategy and continuously hit 8.5 - 9. The same thing happened with Listening as my weakness was the multiple-choice questions. And Chris's methods work again! Regarding Speaking, I watched most of the videos from the channel days before the test, which definitely helps a lot! The Writing score is damn low though I was quite sure I would get 7 at least (I got to write task 1 twice as I misread the question). Do IELTS Daily's videos help me with this? Absolutely. I found the channel to be extremely helpful and free of bull**its, which can be easily found on the Internet. And one more thing, Im just an average Joe which is not that bright, at all. So I believe hard work play an critical part Thanks a lot! Much appreciated!

i just want to say that watching IELTS daily has helped me so much in practicing my speaking and writing skills. especially for speaking! i had my speaking exam this morning (the other skills will be done tomorrow), and my topic is writing or typing! i remember watching your video the day before the exam and the topic was about pencils and pens, that's quite similar so i have the general idea already! aaand in section 3, i was asked about saving money. although it's a lil bit different than the questions for romy here, i can use some of the vocabulary that i have learnt here! but i probably get only 7-7.5 for my speaking, since at the third section i stuttered and paused several times. really, thank you, IELTS daily! hopefully, tomorrow's test will go smoothly as well, using the tips and tricks i got from your video. and hopefully, the results are good too!

I understand it right that she is a native speaker and she gives us learnings. The idea is nice and good to learn from sophisticated natives. I can concentrate on their English and her pronounciation, and leanred.
