IELTS speaking test with a band score 6.5
There are specific criteria used to calculate the IELTS speaking test scores. It is expected that you meet these criteria when you speak. Those criteria are Pronunciation, accuracy, and coherence, as well as lexical resources and Grammar.
Each of these factors determines how well you score on the speaking section of the IELTS. Each criterion is scored separately and then the total is divided by four.
In this channel, you'll find important tips for IELTS speaking interviews. As you read this sample, you will find out what structure you need to follow during the speaking interview to be successful. Be sure to pay attention to the examiner's tips carefully. By following the structure of the contest and using high-level phrases and sentences, you will be able to better understand the information, but remember to provide grammar-driven answers, and practicing is crucial.

His answer is actually really good, and it seems spontaneous too (which is good). I think he only need to work on his confidence, just to make the examiner more convince to give him higher results

The second part is very hard to answer even for the native speaker, unless you’re an art student. Most people don’t know much about painting

Just make up anything in your mind, this is the speaking module and your speaking skills are considered based on your vocabulary, coherence, grammar and most importantly, your ability to produce content even though the topic is not relevant to your knowledge.

That question regarding painting does not look that appropriate, because not everyone might be into paintings. If we already have some idea on paintings it's fine, or we have to make up some story then and there which not everyone is good at or few people take more time to make up such stories.

Do you know you they are ? Ielts trainer , they know very well how to judge candidates . He got band score in accordance to his speaking skills , his accent is like native speakers along with expression according to question types . Don't misunderstand . You are judging him only by his content.

Today he gave me cue card about happy thing you heard from anyone ...i dont read it i thought she gave me anything good heard for someone ..i talked two for minutes even i add idioms and good vocabulary but after 2 mints she told me i ask you to tell happy thing about you not anyone ?? Its means i failed my test only 5 band ??? Even i gave her good answer at part 3 would i pass with minimum 5.5?
