@@IELTSJacky I just got the result today! I got a C1, my general score was 8, (reading 9, speaking 8, listening 8 But I had a 7 in writing!!) I spent too much time on writing task 1!! a bit over 30mins! So I ended up with just around 28 mins for task 2!!! I could have got a C2 if I hadn't made that silly mistake. I ran out of time, couldn't double check for grammar or spelling mistakes, Just developed one idea. Anywho I used the structures you suggest on both my essays, as well as your strategies for the reading and speaking parts. Thanks again Jacky YOU ARE A LEGEND!!!! YOUR VIDEOS REALLY WORK!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jacky In none of your methods I saw you writing a Background/context in the introduction. Here I saw you starting directly with the paraphrasing. I came across the method of stating the background prior to paraphrasing in many places. Can you guide. Thank you..

Hi Jacky, your tips were very helpful. I got 7,8.5,8.5,8.5 in W,R,L,S respectively. Your tips were especially useful in the reading section(I watched all your videos haha). I think I could've done better at my writing had I not made a mistake and realise it late into the exam. Thanks very much !

@@IELTSJacky how are u doing? Hope your doing well.. l have one more doubt. many things that used to be done in the home by hands are now being done by machines. Does this development bring more advantages or disadvantages. can you suggest me how to write? do we need to write both adv and disadvantages? because in many essay samples there are both adv and disadvantages and in some ,only one aspect. am bit confused

Hello. Some IELTS sources say that, in to what extent do you agree or disagree question type, you should agree for paragraph 1 and disagree for paragraph 2 and also choose and give your own opinion. However, according to video, it is said that, we either agree and give information about both paragraphs or disagree in 2 paragraphs. Does it matter?

In opinion essays, also called agree - disagree essays, you must choose one side of the argument as your view and argue only for that view. You should not examine both sides of the argument. The clue is in the word 'or'.

Hi Jacky! Thanks for your amazing videos! Could you please solve our dispute among non-native colleagues ? 🙈 Does this sentence “We have developers out of Romania” mean that they have developers FROM Romania or OUTSIDE Romania? Thanks in advance

Hi Alina. A native English speaker would never say, “We have developers out of Romania”. We would say, “We have developers from Romania”, that is, they come from Romania. Best regards, Jacky
