- Hôm nay chúng ta cùng thực hiện bài thi IELTS Speaking band 7+ với Ms.Jenny nhé. Lý do mà bài thi này đạt 7+ (có thể hơn một chút) vì:
Theo 4 tiêu chí chấm điểm:
1. Fluency & Coherence:
Tiêu chí lưu loát chưa được đáp ứng trọn vẹn, nhất là trong Part 2, vì còn "er ehm..." và thiếu linking words.
2. Pronunciation:
cần cải thiện thêm intonation và cách nhấn keywords trong 1 câu dài
3. Grammatical Range:
Chưa sử dụng được đa dạng thì, đôi khi nói thiếu final sounds dẫn đến ngữ pháp sai
4. Lexical Resource:
Từ vựng sử dụng đa số đơn giản, chưa có nhiều từ mới, phức tạp và đa dạng chủ đề

Most of the time she was using american english but there were also seen british usage of english too. Plus, subtitles corrected her a lot of mistakes.Thus, she somehow deserves to 8. Who agrees?

she didn't use complex sentences, phrasal verbs & connectors that much. Also she repeated some sentences twice! I got 7 in speaking, I understand why she got this!

It looks like she has prepared the answers beforehand a ,some phrases were too complex as it was scripted but after few seconds she managed to talk as naturally as it was .I'd say she deserves 7.5.

She was very confident, she had grammatical mistakes which is probably why she got a lower band score but love her energy.

EXCELLENT. she just forgot to bind a final linking word to the question "which film would you share to your friend". She seamlessly glided through the question but forgot to relate it to the question as if she was talking about "what is your favorite movie" instead of the real task.

IELTS is business. If you want 8, they give you 7 just to sit for the test again. If you don't like the result, you can apply for the EOR which is enquiry on result but you have to pay. So, it is a way to make money.

abo Ad the examiner doesn’t know what score you want unless you tell them. It’s not true that they will give you a lower score than what you say you want. They give you a score based on your performance.In EOR the examiner doesn’t know the previous score that was given.

Thank you for posting this video. I got a question: when the band descriptors for 7 and 8 say: "..uses a variety/wide range of complex structures", what does the adjective "wide" refer to? A big amount of complex sentences or a big variety (namely a lot of different types) of complex sentences? Is it about quantity or variety?

Full interview session was a predetemined act. To the extend, the question and answer was to paly a signifant copy past rule. Acting was in peak level in which merely caught red-handed.

Mình chưa bao giờ thấy video nào chất lượng hơn. Nó thực tế về độ khó của IELTS không như các trung tâm vì câu dẫn học viên mà cho những thí sinh chỉ cần phát âm hay, bỏ qua ngữ pháp và từ vựng, idiom kèm với lời giật tít "band 8" để ai cũng ảo tưởng. Nghe chị ấy nói chị ấy phải 8.0 là ít.

As far as I can see, her answers are quite good but since she is also Vietnamese, she definitely won't avoid making mistakes in her assignment and this video is a way to get the score 7 In IELTS, in terms of her response, I think it's too perfect

Oh my God and if you have other interest than movies or social media how do you manage these type of questions Could I say I rarely watch movies the rare times I've tried I immedialty fell asleep after 15 min so I can recommend a film to someone else because I don't watch them🤔

Make a movie of your own in your head and start narrating as a movie bcz I bet the examiner would only judge u for ur fluency coherence and grammar and not for what you are talking

Tự tin lên bạn để tránh ngập ngừng trong phòng thi. Việc học Speaking là nhiều ở nỗ lực nên tips bây giờ cô nghĩ là bạn nói thật nhiều , ôn luyện và tìm ra lỗi sai, hạn chế của mình khi trả lời và cải thiện. Ví dụ hay à, ừm hay sử dụng cấu trúc chưa nhuần nhuyễn...thì thay đổi dần nhé. Chúc bạn thi tốt nha

This is a simulation video. She can get a score 7+, maybe 7.5, 8...but not 9. Because she makes some mistakes.

I think she deserves more than 7 band . After seeing this video and realizing that she only scored 7 make my confident low and also very nervous about the test 😢 I am so bad at speaking as well as writing . Can anyone suggest me effective solution ? Thanks in advance 🙏❤️
