personally, as someone who goes to a private school and has seen the bills on my dad's desk, they are fucking expensive and it shocks me that people can afford them at all, but im really grateful that i am able to go to one as in the past ive gone to a public school before and imo the private schools are leagues better, the experience is just entirely different in some ways. however at the end of the day due to national standards it is essentially the same thing, just a bit of an upgrade
