That was very clever deducing it like that. The pin and cam is a fantastic tool and you have to know it and the lock to work this method out. Absolutely fantastic. 🙂👍

0:42 You are correct about the hardplate cover .It’s however a single plate not a shroud that wraps around. It’s supposed to be put on the outside facing side and fixed with two plastic plugs in the holes you can see. It was left off on installation in many cases. Great videos keep up the good work .

This is exactly what was needed. Now that you have said I have seen this - the plastic plugs are not the strongest. The trouble I find is remembering everything while recording - it’s often a struggle but I guess repetition will help over time. Thank you for taking the time to ‘plug’ the gaps and for your kind words.
